Wouldn't recommend for HTC but for a samsung instead

It didn't work on my HTC as when I moved the phone slightly it would stop charging, but it does charge up my partners samsung phone perfect and his PlayStation controllers, but I wouldn't recommend to get it for a HTC phone

Does not work as data cable for HTC Legend

Either this was never intended for HTC Legend or it's just a Chinese knock off. Given they put genuine on the product label on the bag and there are small but importance differences from my old cable most likely the second.
