Fecido Classic Kitchen Dish Towels with Hanging Loop - Set of 4, White

I've found the Fecido Classic Kitchen Dish Towels I bought recently to be excellent. More about this in a moment...but first my tale of woe. As my headline tries to infer, I've had a bad prior experience with dish towels. In April, 2017, I bought eight Sticky Toffee Cotton Terry Kitchen Dish Towels, which have proven unsatisfactory in a number of ways. Every single one of the Sticky Toffee towels I bought developed large holes the first time I washed them. (There were no sharp objects in the washing machine or dryer. to my astonishment, the holes appeared spontaneously.) After washing (and they've been washed many times by now) these towels have never absorbed water readily -- perhaps the chief function of a towel. Nor have they ever become soft to the touch. OK, enough about my woeful experience with unsatisfactory kitchen towels. I've told this story only for contrast. The six Fecido Classic Kitchen Dish Towels I bought recently have told a different tale. I washed them all upon arrival, before using them. They turned out soft and absorbent, without defects of any kind. These towels are a little oversized; not so big as to be clumsy, but easily large enough to perform their function well. In addition, the six towels in my order -- two each of red, blue and black -- are handsome in design, and serve to dress up the kitchen when hung in plain sight. They are not cheap, but, in my opinion, they are worth every cent. There must be other fine kitchen towels offered on Amazon; I can only report on my personal experience. Point made -- a towel is not a towel.

I feel as though kitchen towel wisdom is something you either have, or you don't. I never did. I used the same crappy towels meal after meal, day after day, year after year and most times I just reached for the more absorbent, less eco friendly paper towel. I suspect kitchen towel wisdom is something that is handed down by mother's to their kitchen protege kids. My mother never handed down that wisdom and she's no longer around for me to ask her why. A few weeks ago something snapped me out of my clueless state (not sure what or why) and I started to think about a better kitchen towel. I yearned for something more absorbent yet still beautiful. I poured over reviews here on Amazon and ultimately landed on these Fecido Classics. So certain was I that I'd found the holy grail of dish towels that I purchased six straight away. Incredibly, they did not disappoint. These things suck up water like a siphon in a swimming pool. Amazing. They are THAT good. And they're good looking as well. Recently our dogs came in from the yard covered in wet mud. I didn't have a towel handy so I grabbed one of these.... in just a couple of minutes I had them both dried off so they didn't track their muddy paws around the house. Amazing I was afraid that they wouldn't hold up to a washing machine but alas, they look every bit as good today after two or three washes as they did when I unboxed them. QUESTION: Everyone talks about the HANGING LOOP on these and they do indeed have one. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE FOLKS HANG THESE? My kitchen doesn't have hooks anywhere. BOTTOM LINE: Superb absorbency. Good looking towel. Holds up to washing. Makes kitchen cleanup and drying so much easier than it was before

I purchased a set of 4 in the purple for my daughter and a red set for my daughter in law. I liked theirs so well that I ordered a set of 2 for myself in lt. green.. Even though they don't have a color that goes exactly with my kitchen the green is neutral enough to blend with everything. Do be aware that like everything on the net the product is heavily lighted photography and appear much brighter than they are. For instance the classic red looks candy apple bright red in the picture but is actually much darker but is still red. That being said I cannot recommend this product highly enough! They are huge compared to department store towels. If you have hanging hooks or use a cabinet door knob they hang like a decorator item from the European style hanging tab.Their weight and absorption is top notch. I washed before using and my daughter accidentally put them in the dryer without removing the old dryer sheet and they still absorbed. They did get washed with teal towels and turned aqua. before drying I told her to try to rewash with a little bleach since had not been dried . The white came out like new and the green color did not fade. I am 75 years old and have used many brands, styles and fibers over the years and I have never had anything like these! I have quite a few towels and not all are in bad shape but I will be tossing and replacing with more Fecido.

These are the best kitchen towels. Even when new, they are absorbent. After they’ve aged a little, they absorb even better. I have used liquid bleach on them and it doesn’t bleach the color. They have a classic look and they last a long time even with hard use.

I have never seen such quality kitchen towels as these. They are beautiful, thickest and most absorbent, and super soft with a hanging loop attached. They caught my attention at first due to their pattern and variety of colors. Yet, when I read where they were made I was sold. Portugal, the Best of the Best, when it comes to cotton, and their flannel for example which no other can compare to. I say this as I used to retail fabric specifically from Portugal in the line of 100% cotton flannel. It is top of the line, like these towels are too. I would highly recommend these lovely towels, that should last for many years, due to their high quality. Thank you Amazon for carrying these amazing kitchen towels. Pamela

The towels are very nice. I have been using them for a year. They are absorbent but not perfect hence the 4 star rating. They are nice enough to gift and would go with most kitchen color schemes so a 5 star gift rating seems appropriate. However, they do start to fray after several washings in a high speed front load high efficiency washing machine hence the 3 star rating. I really like the gray as opposed to the black but the gray was not available.

Great quality

These tea towels are a great size, lovely quality towel and dry the dishes really well. I have not graded them for durability or value for money. Because I have not had them long enough to judge for this yet.
