This is fabulous coffee. It is USDA certified organic. The beans are bursting with the most wonderful smell and taste. It is considered medium roast. We grind ours a little coarser and make filtered coffee. It has a very smooth aftertaste. It has enough caffeine content to jump start my mornings and does not seem overly acidic to me. I love the freshness of grinding coffee beans. It just adds another layer of enjoyment to a nice cup of coffee. This Amazon Fresh whole bean coffee checks every box for me - plus it is very affordable. We love it at my house and hope it works out just as well for you.

I've been running this Peru medium roast on a monthly subscription for a while now and I keep not switching. It's smooth, a little bright, kind of a sweet finish — not the burnt tire flavor you get from a lot of cheap bulk beans. For under seven bucks a bag it honestly has no business being this good. If you want to get the most out of it, here's what works for me: Grind it right before you brew — whole bean is the whole point, and pre-ground coffee starts going flat almost immediately. Medium grind, about like coarse sand, for a pour-over or drip. Use good water. If your tap water tastes like a swimming pool, your coffee will too. Filtered makes a real difference. Get your ratio close to 1:16 — roughly 22g of coffee to 350g of water, or if you don't own a scale, two level tablespoons per 6 oz cup. Water just off the boil, around 200°F. Boiling water scorches it and you lose all the sweet tart notes this one has going for it. Bloom it. Pour just enough water to wet the grounds, wait 30 seconds while it puffs up, then pour the rest slowly in circles. That little pause is the difference between "fine" and "oh, that's nice." Store the bag somewhere cool and dark, sealed up. Not the freezer, not on top of the machine. Do all that and this $7 bag will beat most $5 coffee shop cups. Five stars, would subscribe again — already did, actually.

I bought this from my husband to try because we are forever looking for a permanent coffee that we love. This coffee is just okay. I know that some people swear by it but coffee is one of those things where you can be very very particular about it. So I don't know if this helps anybody or not but 4 out of five stars. I wouldn't not recommend it but it's just okay

We have been trying organic coffee and Amazon recommended this. And frankly we love it. Its nicely packaged in amounts we consume in a week. Its got a great warm mellow deep flavor. My boyfriend has become allergic to non organic coffee and has no problems consuming this. And now this is our regular go to. Its not too acid, its very smooth and getting it fresh and easily for a great price is just amazing. You will probably enjoy it!

I like the organic idea, and it I'm not an expert but it tastes good. MY MAIN COMPLAINT IS TO FIND OUT THAT CURRENTLY I'M PAYING MORE PER OUNCE FOR THE THREE PACK THAN FOR BUYING A SINGLE. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON.

Good scent and acceptable quality. The taste is nice, but I expected a little more strength and flavor. It's a good coffee, but it didn't become one of my favorites

Im not sure that color belongs to a medium roast but the taste is acceptable, not tasty for me.
