Works well WITH a slight modification
The unit was indistinguishable from the OEM that it replaced with one small modification needed. Most mechanics will reuse the ingnition lock cable from the OEM replacement because to replace that cable requires disassembly and reassembly of your ingnition key cylinder and it's a HUGE pain in the but to do. However, the OEM lock cable has a plastic sleeve that sits in a small channel on the shift mechanism, and the sleeve won't fit in that channel without modifying one or the other. You either need to trim the plastic sleeve, or widen the channel on the shift mechanism. I chose to trim the sleeve with a sharp razor blade. If the channel was the exact same size, this would have rated 5 stars. Ultimately, I'm satisified with the part and would purchase one again.

Thank you Amazon for having this part. I looked everywhere for it . Would of had to jump thru hoops to get part from other sources, I installed part problems gone. Take a few minutes to YouTube installation process. Especially with the lockout cable. I left old q hooked up and made my installation simple. Saved $$$$ big on diy . Part fit perfectly.

Don’t buy this crap!
Didn’t last a year. The crappy plastic ball developed a flat spot and shifting is harder then when I originally replaced the factory mechanism. Shifter passes the park lock and locks the shifter out of gear. Chinese junk!
