Great food processor but has a slight learning curve. Probably too large for my needs. It has to be stored since I don't use it that often. Great for shredding large batches of zucchini. I wouldn't take it out of storage for just a carrot or celery. Still learning.

Perfect size. Easy to operate. Great for small kitchens.

I have enjoyed using my new compact 9 cup food processor from Cuisinart since March 25,2024. Yesterday I was chopping cabbage in the bowl (not the continuous feed bowl ) and when it was at the size I wanted I tried to unlock the bowl from the machine and the handle just broke in my hand leaving the bowl still locked into place on the base. I used no more force other than necessary to unlock and remove the bowl and it just came off in my hand. I checked the website for a warranty and I see that it was still under warranty and there was a phone number listed for support for Cuisinart so I just called them today. Chris told me that I used too much force to remove the bowl and that it was not covered under their warranty and that I could purchase a new one from them on- line for $42.00 plus tax but the good news was that it had free shipping. As you might expect I told him NO and that I was going to write a review of this experience on Amazon and tell everyone who is interested about their warranty. Please, if your are considering purchasing this food processor be aware that the handle on the bowl is very flimsy and yours could break off in your hand as well. So now my husband has gorilla glued the handle pieces to the bowl so that I can semi lock and unlock it from the base and hope it will limp along until I can afford to purchase a better one. Buyer Beware!

This is not a third party refurbished one because it was refurbished by cruisinart it would have came from cruising art that first thing they sent me that was refurbished was a smack in the face to the company because what they sent would not have last past the year so I donated it and I donated it in the lady called me and someone picked it up and the person who picked it up was just got out of a homeless shelter into our apartment bless her heart because I did not need it I was honest about what I told the girl I don't want that and she says do what you want so I donated it.

Just as I thought it would be

My old food processor had developed a bit of a wobble, and I thought it was time to replace before it died on me. This new Cuisinart is fabulous (how and you go wrong with Cuisinart) far surpasses my old one, in looks, in efficiency, and in performance. I am a happy cook.
