I needed a key for my antique cabinets. Found 2 for the door and 1 for the drawers. My daughter also found one for her old hope chest she locked years ago. It was a gamble but much cheaper than a locksmith.

I lost the sole skeleton key we had for a late 1800s china/curio cabinet. I called a couple of locksmiths and they could come out and see if any of theirs fit but that was over $100 just for the call. It dawned on me to check Amazon...I measured the keyhole and found what I thought to be the most likely set. One fits perfectly and another will work but is a bit loose. They are all heavy metal. The ones that do not fit will make some cool 'at' or craft~

My brother lost his cabinet key to his floor model grandfather clock. I sent the whole key ring of keys to him and he actually found a key on the ring that fit his clock cabinet. (He has been searching for his lost key for 2 years, so this set was a life saver for him!) It was well worht the purchase!I am not sure of the integrity of the metal so I took a star off for sturdiness and for durability.

My grandfather's secretary desk had been in my basement for 40 years . The key was lost and it it could not be opened. After giving my piano to my granddaughter, we decided to move the desk to where the piano had been. But I really wanted to open the desk. I took a chance and ordered this set of reproduction vintage keys - hoping that one would work. Imagine my delight when the second key I tried opened the desk easily !! The cost was worth it to me and I will keep the rest just in case I ever acquire another locked furniture piece. I plan to post a picture once I get the desk in place.

The keys are very nice, but there were only 9 in package.

These are pretty keys but none of them worked on any of my pieces, hence the 3 stars. I have a mid-century secretary, a desk and a hundred-year-old house with original door hardware and these keys didn't work on any of them. Maybe if I had older furniture pieces they would have worked. They are pretty keys though and the metal does seem strong and durable. The color of the metal is nice too, not tacky but subtle. They will work to stick in the lock and have something to grab to open my secretary doors. I'll keep them around, they may work on some of my friends' antiques or I may find something in the antique stores that these would be good for.

I bought these keys in the hopes that one might fit a very old desk I've had for more than thirty years. I don't know how old it is, but I think it's 1880s. One of the keys was a perfect fit!Then, I thought about my 2nd great-grandmother's mirrored dresser. It's from the late 1890s. Another key was a perfect fit for it!I can't be more pleased. These keys are very good quality -- very solid.

These are so poorly made the teeth of the key just sheer off inside locks with barely any pressure, I would not recommend
