I just took this backpack on a 2 week road trip. I used compressed storage bags for clothes to organize the backpack and it worked very well. I put toiletries, phone cords, etc in the smaller attached backpack. It was easy to carry with the padded side handle - did not need to use it as a backpack. It fit everything. Planning to take it on a trip to Wales which requires only carry-on luggage. It would easily fit into an overhead compartment. Very durable and excellent quality. The size was perfect. I b like b it better than my hard-sided luggage because it can be squished into smaller places.

Even before traveling with it, I’m genuinely impressed with the Osprey Fairview 55L based on its build quality, design, and overall feel. The suspension system feels sturdy and well engineered, not flimsy or overly rigid. Overall, the Fairview 55L gives off a strong sense of reliability and smart design. Even without having traveled with it yet, it’s clear this backpack is built with intention, quality materials, and attention to detail. I feel confident in the purchase and can already tell it’s going to be a great long-term investment.
