Dent Fix DENDF-CT887 Slimline Plastic Pop Riveter

I'm a professional body man, and this is the best plastic riveter on the market. It doesn't leave the little 1/8" tit that you have to cut off with the knock off brands. You also don't have to remove the wheels to install flares. The only shortcomings are a certain type of flare has recessed rivets that this tool cannot access, and you'll need a traditional style tool. The price i believe is a bit ridiculous, it's over double the cost of competitors, and it's been on the market over a decade. Only reason I bought this is my previous one grew legs.

I've owned a few plastic rivet guns over the years and they served their purpose. I've been working on my Dodge more and have made some changes/upgrades to the body. I decided to invest in a quality rivet gun and compared to other products this fit my price range. I've used it on 2 projects so far and have been pleased with its quality, ease of operation and overall functions. I've used 3 different rivet lengths and each time the operation was flawless. Highly recommend.

If you need to replace a plastic fender, on a Jeep or similar project, that requires the use of 1/4” or 6.4mm PLASTIC RIVETS, then this is the tool for you. It’s ridiculously expensive compared to other rivet guns but it simply WORKS. I placed each and every rivet correctly on first try with 2 squeezes of the handle. None of the grief others have reported using cheaper products. Unless your budget prohibits the purchase, strongly consider this tool. How much is your time worth if you have to go to the dealer to get more of their overpriced plastic rivets because a cheaper product malfunctioned?

I ordered product "Slim-Line Plastic pop riveter Kit" to replace the plastic rivets that I had removed from my rear fender well of my 2008 Chrysler 300. This worked fantastic and also came included in the blue case two different sizes of 10 additional black plastic rivets that worked perfect to replace the ones that I had removed. I did not even have to remove my rear wheels, this tool fit with room to spare. Save yourself the hassle of the cheap $15 versions. This works great, will not jam, and should last forever. I tried the cheap version (they are sold under a variety of names) and it lasted for 3 rivets. This is easy to use, is jam proof, has longer handles so it is easier to squeeze, and feels like it will last forever.

You can tell why it's a bit pricey once you use it. The thing is really well built, all metal and works really well. This tool is a life saver when clips brake and you just slap a rivet in there and good as new
