Success!
I'm not using this traditionally. I combined this with natural lanolin and a bit of water to create a waterproof spray on some wool items. It works like a charm!

very impressed
I've tried several gentle and natural shampoos to clean wool fleece and found they didn't work that well. I just used Eucalan for the first time and it worked beautifully! I gently hand washed after a short soak in tepid water with a bit of Eucalan. The dirt rinsed off into the water and the wool came out so bright. A little goes a long way so this little bottle will last a while. Worth every penny!

A must have for laundering sheepskin rugs!
My adult children grew up with multiple New Zealand sheepskin “rugs” to nap and play on, and we still have most of them. Not surprisingly, when one of my daughters had her own baby last year she got him one of his own. After his had been machine washed with a “delicate” laundry soap for woolens a couple of times, the skin side was no longer supple and was more like cardboard, and the fur wasn’t as soft as it once was. After one machine wash (sans rinse) in warm water with Eucalan lanolin, and even tumble dried to a little drier than damp on very low heat, the skin is renewed and supple, and the fur is as soft as it should be.I purchased the unscented and it truly left no scent behind.I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to care for a natural sheepskin.

Best one so far
My wife is extremely, and I mean extremely, sensitive to fragrance. Two brain surgeries are the cause of that. The slightest stinky floral fragrance (I'm talking to you, Philosophy; ugh) is enough to trigger a multiple-day migraine. Everything these days including even packaging is fragranced it seems, and you now have to seek out unscented versions of products which in the past were never scented. Insanity. Anyway, she used Eucalan for several years on the advice of the lingerie shop she goes to. She tried a different product called Soak, and that was a massive failure. She went back to Eucalan and is happy once again. Highly recommend this product whether you're sensitive to fragrance or not. Couldn't be easier to use: mix a small amount in water, soak the item overnight, let it dry. No rinsing, scrubbing, agitation, or anything else required. Gentle on the most fragile of items. Great for cloth masks, lingerie, or whatever. You can use it in a washing machine as well, although I'd only do that using a lingerie bag, small volume, gentle cycle.

3.3 oz unscented bottle is like travel size
I haven’t used this yet. Just got it today. I was surprised at the size. It’s very small. Like a travel size bottle. For handwash it said to use 5 ml in a gallon of water. The bottle has 100 ml. It has no perfume scent which is my preference. I will keep this and see how long it lasts me.

Fantastic product-not just for knitting!
I have used this product for years and am an avid knitter but also use it for delicates. It’s great and my clothing lasts longer. Highly recommend!

A Bit of Adjusting Washing Ideas Needed
Before you read further, know the end results were good. Just a different way of getting there. I chose unscented, so ranked it high, though I have to admit the scent of wet fur, even clean wet fur isn't particular charming. It is what it is, and it does dry out to a sort of neutral scent. That this in water is to be worked through the sheepskin, allowed to soak several minutes, squeezed through again, and NOT RINSED made it a unique experience. Flat drying requirements when tight wringing is ill-advised is also a challenge. I have ordered a foldable flat drying device for the next time. As it was, I happened to have a means to sort of flat dry it, while keeping it out of direct sunlight, as instructed, but it was very slow. Probably should have rolled it in a thick towel...or two...before attempting to dry it. All in all, it was a multi-day project, but the results were good, and we certainly would not want to damage the skin, when there is the great product to do the job right.

Small size
It's a small bottle. I purchased this to hand-wash a wool sweater. I don't think it did any better than W...lite would have done.
