My husband is from Argentina and loves drinking Mate. I wanted to find a convenient way for him to enjoy it, and this product has been perfect! So far, the experience has been great; it keeps the water hot, has never leaked, and is very easy to clean after use. The size is just right, easy to carry, and it looks neat and stylish. Overall, a great product for the price!

As a first time maté drinker this cup is a great way to start with. The divider helps to control the serving portion, since I don’t know exactly how many oz of lose leaf to serve, I just use the divider as a guide, fill up to the rim on one side with lose leaf, and leave the other side free to pour the water through.Drink and keep pouring hot water when empty, I like my water at 140F, I’m sure avid drinkers have perfected the recipe but for now it works for me, it’s hard to get used to the taste so I like to add a little bit of lemon 🍋 and very little honey to my warm water to refill my mate. I drink until the lose leaf looses its strong flavor and potency. So far for me it lasts a whole work shift from 9am-5pm. The stainless steel cup keeps the water warm but doesn’t retain the heat for too long but personally it doesn’t bother me since I don’t like the drink hot.The straw is really special because the tip is shaped in a flat way unlike the traditional cylinder straws here in USA and I find it very comfortable to sip with since it molds in a comfortable way on your lips.I’m not an expert drinking mate but this cup makes me look like one for sure 😆.Easy to wash, like any other stainless steel a little bit of water and soap will do the job, specially if you only use it for mate nothing sticks to it, it doesn’t hold any odd odors. no need to put it in the dishwasher because honestly that would be a waste of water and electricity.

This has made preparing my mate so easy! The gourds quality is top notch! Better than other brands I’ve used. I prefer using the steel ones since they’re easier to clean and maintain than a natural gourd. Divider is good quality as well! No complaints! Nothing but a positive experience

Es un buen mate, higiénico y facil de lavar. Aunque no esperes mucho de la bombilla.
