I recently purchased the Sony A6700 and I can honestly say I’m extremely satisfied with this camera. In my opinion, it’s currently the best APS-C camera on the market. The image quality is outstanding. The 26MP sensor delivers sharp, detailed photos with beautiful colors and impressive dynamic range. Low-light performance is also excellent for an APS-C camera. The autofocus system is incredibly fast and accurate — subject tracking and AI-based detection (including eye AF for humans, animals, and birds) work flawlessly. It makes capturing moving subjects very easy and reliable. For video, this camera is simply amazing. 4K footage is oversampled and looks incredibly detailed, and features like 10-bit recording and advanced profiles give a lot of flexibility for color grading. It feels like a professional filmmaking tool in a compact body. The build quality is solid and the camera feels premium in hand. Despite its small size, the grip is comfortable and the battery life is very good. The in-body image stabilization is another big plus, especially for handheld shooting. Overall, I highly recommend the Sony A6700 to anyone looking for a powerful, modern APS-C camera for both photography and video. Very pleased with my Sony A6700, I got an almost new Sony 70-350mm lens off ebay to pair with it and the combo is really really good. I also got a SmallRig baseplate for it and a Lexar 3 V90 SDXC UHD-II memory card, it allows me to do 4K 120fps which is one of my favorite features of the A6700. The short video of the bee taking off was recorded at 1080 in 240fps with Sony 30mm macro lens. I kind of learnt the basics of digital photography and Lightroom with a Sony Nex-6 but this A6700 is leaps and bounds beyond that.

Finally upgraded from my old A6000 and what an improvement. The focus performance is miles better. The flip screen, although I'm an eyepiece user, the screen does come in handy for some of the tricky shots. The battery seems to last an age. I'm just all round impressed. I should have upgraded as soon as it came out but I held off. I did get £100 cashback from Sony as was the offer. It didn't actually advertise that on the Amazon site but the Sony site showed it when I registered the camera, then it was a couple of months wait before I could claim and another month for it to be paid. I think that I'm sure that I'm glad that I didn't go full frame... I like reach and I still think the 750mm equivelent that I have now is not enough...

I loved my previous camera but it just wasn't doing it for me after I used the Sonay Aiii at Uni. Took me a bit to save up but it's 100% worth it for me. I'm still getting used to the extra buttons (e.g. photo to video switch) but there's a lot of potential to be quite efficient if you're a hybrid shooter like I am. I mostly take photos and videos of my dogs so the Autofocus on animal eye tracker has been a game changer. Plus the 4k recording is nice if you want to make social media posts but also landscape videos. Battery life is okay, I'll be getting extra batteries for day trips, especially if you're filming. The camera itself is quite small I'd say, the grip feels natural. I was tempted to get a full frame but having a more compact camera just feels less awkward and more practical. The screen I'm still getting used to. It's nice but I keep folding it the wrong way which sounds dumb but ye...

What a great camera!!! I’ve come from a Nikon d810 and was contemplating keeping with the Nikon brand. However after lots of research, I decided to bite the bullet and change over to Sony and sell all my Nikon camera and all my F mount lens. It’s a superb camera for both photos and video. Paired with a Sigma 18-50mm and few other lens my wife doesn’t know about! Light, compact but with a great grip, it’s brilliant for my days out and holiday. Going from a full frame camera to a crop sensor camera worried me a little, but the choice of lens available for the Sony emount eased all my fears. For me, a true leader in the hybrid mirrorless camera world.

Le Sony A6700 est un excellent choix pour les vidéastes et photographes en quête de polyvalence et de qualité d’image, avec une définition 4K nette et une mise au point rapide. J’ai utilisé ce boîtier avec plusieurs objectifs, dont un Helios 44-2 monté grâce à une bague d’adaptation. L’interface intuitive et l’autofocus très réactif m’ont permis d’obtenir de superbes résultats pour des films de portrait et de street photo. Cependant, un point à prendre en compte : la surchauffe. Lors de l’enregistrement vidéo, le A6700 chauffe très rapidement, en particulier lors de tournages prolongés en 4K ou en haute définition (comme le 60 fps). Après seulement quelques minutes, un message de surchauffe apparaît, et l’enregistrement s’arrête. C’est un inconvénient majeur pour des sessions vidéo longues, surtout si vous prévoyez de filmer sans interruption pendant un certain temps. Cela dit, pour les vidéos courtes ou les enregistrements en intérieur avec des pauses régulières pour laisser refroidir l’appareil, le A6700 reste performant. Mais pour des sessions prolongées, je recommande de privilégier des réductions de la résolution ou de filmer en 1080p afin de minimiser la chaleur générée, ou d'investir dans un système de refroidissement externe ! Le montage d’un objectif vintage comme l’Helios ajoute un charme particulier à l’image, mais cela n’empêche pas la surchauffe. En résumé, c’est un très bon appareil pour la vidéo court-métrage et les projets d’initiation, mais il nécessite des pauses régulières pour éviter la surchauffe.

La calidad de imagen es excelente, con un sensor APS-C que ofrece un rango dinámico amplio y colores muy naturales. El enfoque automático es rápido y preciso, incluso en condiciones de poca luz, lo que facilita capturar momentos espontáneos sin pérdida de nitidez. El cuerpo es compacto y ligero, ideal para llevar a diario sin que suponga una carga, pero a la vez robusto y bien construido, con buen agarre y controles bien distribuidos. La pantalla articulada me ha resultado muy útil para disparar desde ángulos complicados y para grabar vídeo. En cuanto a vídeo, graba en 4K con buena estabilización y opciones profesionales que permiten creatividad y flexibilidad. La duración de la batería, aunque no es infinita, es suficiente para sesiones largas si llevas un par de baterías extra. En definitiva, la A6700 es una cámara versátil y fiable que recomiendo a aficionados avanzados y profesionales que buscan calidad en un formato compacto.

Die Kamera ist kompakt und leicht, eigentlich perfekt um sie überallhin mit zu nehmen (ideal passt das TAMRON Objektiv 17-70mm f2.8 Di III-A VC RXD dazu, damit ist man für 80% aller Anwendungs - Fälle gerüstet). Die Verarbeitung und Haptik sind sehr hochwertig, das Gehäuse liegt wie maßgeschneidert in meiner Hand. Die Sony Alpha 6700 ist eine APS-C-Kamera, die in Sachen Leistung, Vielseitigkeit und Bedienkomfort keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Bildqualität ist erstklassig. Der 26-Megapixel-Sensor liefert gestochen scharfe und detailreiche Fotos mit hervorragendem Dynamikumfang. Selbst bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen beeindruckt die Kamera mit minimalem Rauschen und satten Farben. Die Autofokus-Performance ist herausragend und dank KI-gestütztem Tracking bleibt der Fokus auch bei schnellen Bewegungen präzise auf dem Motiv. Dem Filmen gilt nicht mein Hauptaugenmerk, aber ich denke, dass 4K-Aufnahmen mit bis zu 120fps hochwertige Videoaufnahmen ermöglichen. Dank dem verbauten 5-Achsen-Bildstabilisator ist es auch bei schwachem Umgebungslicht kein Problem schöne Aufnahmen anzufertigen. Die Menüführung und die sehr vielseitig anpassbaren Tasten machen die Bedienung leicht erlernbar und angenehm. Ich kann nichts negatives zu der Kamera sagen, ich denke die vielen positiven Kommentare sprechen auch für sich, angesichts des relativ hohen Preises schluckt man zwar kurz, aber man muss sich auch vor Augen halten, was hier an innovativer Technik geboten wird, die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind schier unendlich, so dass ich die Kamera nicht als zu teuer kritisieren würde. Mein einziger echter Kritikpunkt betrifft den Lieferumfang - von einem beigepackten Ladegerät träume ich bei Sony eh schon lange nicht mehr, aber wenigstens ein Kabel mit dem man den Akku in der Kamera laden kann, sollte beigepackt werden, zumal nicht jedes Kabel geeignet ist, man benötigt nämlich ein USB-PD-kompatibles Gerät mit einer Leistung von 27 W (9 V/3 A). Es fühlt sich einfach falsch an, wenn die ersehnte Lieferung endlich eintrifft und du das Teil ohne "Eigenleistung" nicht mal verwenden kannst Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung.
