The TiFFCOFiO Outdoor Timer has been a fantastic addition to our backyard setup. We use it for our outdoor string lights, and it works flawlessly. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is incredibly convenient—it turns the lights on automatically when it gets dark, and we love that it offers a 2-hour limit option, so the lights don't stay on all night. It gives just the right amount of glow for evening relaxation without wasting energy. The remote control is a great bonus, and the 100 ft range makes it easy to operate from inside the house. The two grounded outlets are perfect for connecting multiple sets of lights, and everything has stayed safe and secure even during heavy rain. The unit feels solid and well-made, and being CSA listed gives us extra peace of mind. Overall, this timer is super reliable, easy to use, and well worth the price!

The media could not be loaded. This device simplifies the powering off and on process of Christmas decorations that reside in the yard. Using the remote or the receiver box, decorative lighting can be turned on by pressing one button.There are two supplied outlets with this unit. I only needed one of them. Throughout my yard, I have multiple 3-way outlets chained together, all of which are controlled by this device.I love being able to come out on my porch with the remote and press the "on" button. All of my decorations instantly light up. I haven't tested the dusk-to-dawn functionality yet. I am wanting to wait closer to Thanksgiving before I enable that feature. (I am not giving the power company more money than I have to.)If you set up your decorations as I have, be sure to disable the automatic functions of your lights. For example, the webbing of lights I purchased for my hedges, I did not enable their equipped auto-on feature. There is no need to do that if one is utilizing the item for purchase on this page.Note: You will find a piece of plastic at the battery end of the remote. Be sure to firmly grip the battery cover or you will pull the battery out, removing the cover st the same time. Luckily, I made that mistake in my house. It could have been an Easter Egg hunt trying to locate that watch battery in my yard.The video I bundled with this review is a sample of the lights I have currently put out that are controlled by this unit. This device reduces the hassle of having to run around and plug in all of your lights individually each time you want to enjoy them. I highly recommend this unit.

I purchased this to use outdoors for the holidays since I don’t have an electrical plug with a switch and I really didn’t want to have to plug and unplug an extension chord every day. This was a life saver!!!!All you do is plug it into the wall, make sure the plugs are facing down so water doesn’t get inside, and all set! I plugged a long extension chord into it and used the remote control to turn it on and off. Worked like a charm and it even worked thru the wall so I didn’t have to go outside. I did not use a timer so I can’t say how well that works but everything about this product is great!As for how it holds up, it has been plugged in for a couple months now and have had zero problems, it has withstood cold and rain with no issues at all. Would buy again!

Great idea and would be perfect if it lasted longer. My timer quit working after 2 months of turning on & off my twinkle lights. Had to purchase a new timer.

Worked well for Christmas lights. However the back light indicators on the unit are difficult to see, especially in the light to know what setting is selected. Does not retain setting if unplugged or power failure. Just remains off.

Love it works great for my outside light I got.
