Very good value. Tripod is not as stable as others with longer legs but seems sturdy. Have a sandbag handy if you extend the arm. Nice that it can be collapsed low when needed. Carrying bag is worthless unless you want to completely disassemble the tripod each time. Better would have been to make the bag a little longer so you only take one section out and then store two sections. That would have been very helpful as I put the tripods purchased in another bag that works better. Threaded fittings and mic clamps are cheap. But overall, if you are on a budget, this is a very good choice

I purchased this mike stand because I wanted a full-height floor stand. It works very well. It's not expensive, and it's easy to assemble and use. The base is heavy enough to accommodate a heavy mike. It also appears to be very stable. Glad I purchased it. It's a great supplement to my desk mike holder.

A great stand, especially for the price! I record audiobooks and podcasts, and I don't have too worry about positioning the microphone anymore. I can place it any any angle, any height, and forget about it. It's stable, made of metal, and easy to set up. And it looks great, too!

i had a little desk mounted boom arm. this tripod mic stand is such an upgrade. everything is built well and tightens nicely without feeling like it will break. this was a solution to a problem i had when recording pc games. every time i touched the keyboard it would make this bass noise through my desk-mounted boom arm. so i bought this tripod mic stand and now it doesnt even touch the desk. it's an even better boom arm than the desk mounted one. i put a 30lbs free weight on the base and it holds it perfectly steady so it doesnt fall over.

perfect stand incredibly durable comes with great attachments totally worth the price comes with metal adapters so plastic isnt worn out very easily portable when going to band meet ups or shows and even comes with a bag for the stand no issues with it at all

I don’t want to ruin it for others if they raise the price per my review however I don’t know how this amazing quality of a microphone stand can be sold for this low price. I have spent twice this price on others and they were not made well at all. This thing is built like a tank! Super heavy duty and super nice adjustable features. The best of the best!

I gave this three stars because that is the least it would let me give. I really only give it two. The stand seems to be well-built. It is portable and won't get damaged easily while traveling. However, it has a couple of major problems. First, it is top-heavy and tips over easily. I have tried spreading the legs out farther. That made it worse. And of course, if you close the legs in too tight, it will also worsen the balance issues. The other thing I have learned is that the stand has to be re-tightened if it is moved in any way at all. If you swing the arm away from you when not in use, it will have to be adjusted and tightened when you move it back, because just moving it away from you will loosen the bolts enough to make the arm fall out of place. This might be a great stand for performance. You can pack it away when not in use, pull it out and leave it completely in place during the performance, and then pack it away again. But, it is not suitable for using every day in the studio where it will not stay tight enough to stand the slightest touch. If I had the box and it was within the return window, I would be sending it back ASAP. But, since I have had it a while, I will get a much better one and keep this one for emergencies.

Cheaply built microphone stand using metal fasteners embedded in plastic housing that results in fasteners stripping after only a few uses. Extremely disappointed.
