What’s not to like. A litre of gin, great value, and tastes great. We’ve been driving this gin for a number of years. Goes down a treat.

Refreshing, fruity, and perfect for summer sipping!
I recently tried J.J Whitley Pink Gin, and I have to say it’s a real treat. If you're into fruity gins with a smooth finish and a beautiful presentation, this bottle ticks every box. It’s one of those gins that manages to balance sweetness and flavour without feeling artificial or overly sugary — it’s proper quality and ideal for both gin enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The first thing you’ll notice is the bottle itself — it’s beautifully designed with elegant detailing and a lovely clear view of the subtle pink liquid inside. It looks great on the drinks shelf or bar trolley and makes an excellent gift too. When you pour it out, the aroma is immediately inviting — delicate notes of raspberries, strawberries and a hint of citrus, all sitting on a classic dry gin base. It smells fresh and floral without being too perfume-like, which is a balance many flavoured gins get wrong. Taste-wise, it’s smooth, with the berry flavours coming through in a really natural way. There's still that classic juniper backbone you'd expect from a proper gin, but it’s softened nicely by the fruit. It’s got a slightly sweet finish, but nothing overpowering — you’re not drinking a liqueur here, it’s still very much a gin. It pairs wonderfully with a light tonic — I’ve been using a classic Indian tonic or occasionally an elderflower version for a twist, and both work really well. Garnish it with a few frozen berries or a slice of lemon and you’ve got a lovely refreshing drink, ideal for warm afternoons or evenings with friends. It also works beautifully in cocktails. I tried it in a French 75 style drink and it gave it a really nice fruity lift. It’s versatile and well-made, and you can tell it hasn’t just been slapped together like some flavoured spirits on the market. Alcohol content is 38.6%, which is on par with most decent gins, and it holds its own in mixed drinks — the flavour doesn't get drowned out. My only slight warning would be: if you prefer very dry gins or more herbal profiles, this one might not be for you. But for a well-rounded, fruity option that still honours its gin roots, J.J Whitley Pink Gin is absolutely worth a try. Highly recommended — it’s now a regular on my shelf!
