The Coop Eden Is Everything That My old Pillow Promised but Never Delivered
After getting tired of My old “highly advertised” Pillow that turned out to be lumpy and needed constant dryer fluffing, I asked AI for something better. It gave me a list, but the Coop Home Goods pillow immediately stood out — adjustable, supportive, and perfect for side sleepers like me. I asked if Coop had a flagship model, and it recommended the Eden. I decided to invest in my sleep and give it a try. I’m glad I did. The Eden is fantastic. The regular Coop pillow is probably great too, but I wanted something that would last, and this one feels built for the long haul. Out of habit, I still nudge it at night like I used to with My old Pillow, but it doesn’t actually need any fluffing. It stays comfortable all night. I wrote this review because I genuinely believe this pillow can help others the way it helped me.

I can't sleep without this pillow.
This review is for the King size, adjustable Eden pillow. I bought the original years ago and somehow lost it when I moved recently, so I bought the Eden to replace it. Years ago, these pillows were not adjustable but I loved it anyway and was truly upset when I discovered it was missing. I actually lost sleep over it. When I found out they're adjustable now, I about lost my mind over the possibilities. In fact, I love the adjustable, Eden version so much that I bought another one. So yeah, I have purchased this pillow 3 times and have not been happier with any other pillow. Bad news first. The odor. You should know that they claim the foam is packed "fresh." This means there WILL be an odor when you receive it because it hasn't had the opportunity to air out. You'll have to do that yourself. Maybe they'll find a way in the future to "pre-air" the foam they use. For now, just accept that it's WORTH THE WAIT and really not a big deal. Don't return your pillow just because of the odor. It WILL go away and you don't want to miss out on this fantastic pillow. They suggest letting it sit for 24 hours or throw it in the dryer. Neither of these methods are long enough, in my opinion, but please be patient. I have experience with 3 of these pillows now and tried different techniques. This is what works best for me: Upon arrival, I immediately remove the outer pillowcase and set aside. Over the course of 48 hours, I let it sit on the bed in my guest room with the ceiling fan on and I "fluff" it 3 or 4 times each day. (I will describe proper fluffing technique for shredded foam later) Then I throw it in the dryer on low for a full cycle. Then put the case back on and it's done! You'll never have to worry about that again and soon you won't even remember having to do it. Now that THAT'S out of the way... I love that these pillows are adjustable now. They really packed in the foam on the king size! I'm not kidding. There was so much foam in my pillows that they, frankly, were too heavy and way too firm for me. I've seen some negative reviews to the contrary. Maybe since then, they've increased the amount of foam they include (they should keep that up, if that's what happened). That's not how I like my pillows but some folks might be into that so I'm glad they put enough in there for those who need a lot of support. They do include 1/2 pound of extra foam in case you want a true, solid-as-a-rock feel. I do not. I'm a stomach and side sleeper, who likes more "squish" to my pillows, so I ended up removing so much foam from my 2 king size pillows that I have enough to make 2 standard sizes with the same squish factor. Not kidding. I went to the Coop website and purchased 2 standard liners and cases that I'm going to stuff with the excess foam and use on my guest bed. I anticipate some of my guests asking where I got the awesome pillows. :) As we all know, memory foam holds heat too well and some foams will kick you right out of bed because you just can't stand to be that hot anymore. I did experience heat retention in the "original" that I had for years. I flipped the pillow over to get the cool side. I assumed all memory foam was like that so I put up with it. I don't get that at all with the Eden version. I'm a hot sleeper but I haven't had any issue with the Eden at all. The Eden has the blue foam in it that's gel-infused. I don't use anything extra or fancy to keep them cool. The foam is in the provided liners and pillowcases and I cover those with normal, cotton pillowcases. I did see a couple reviews that claim their pillows went flat after a while. I'm confused by this. I had my first pillow for years and never experienced any change in texture. As with ANY shredded memory foam pillow, they need to be "fluffed" every now and then. In fact I fluff all of my pillows occasionally, regardless of the stuffing used (I have a variety of textures on my bed). But regardless, shredded memory foam pillows don't go flat. It's just not a thing. If you feel like it's flat, fluff it. Get rough with it. The shapes of the shreds can, over time, start to fit together like puzzle pieces and can become compact in some areas in the pillow. Maybe this is what creates the illusion that it's flat? "Fluffing" a shredded foam pillow involves breaking all the pieces up so they can move independently again. To achieve this, you have to grab several areas of the pillow with both hands so you have clumps of foam in your hands and then sort of jostle everything around in there, breaking up all the chunks. I usually grab and use the same motion I would use to bang cymbals together and then repeat all over the pillow until it feels like everything is separated again. I find this technique to be most effective when I grab around the edges. This takes only 5-8 seconds to accomplish and is completely normal maintenance for a shredded foam pillow. Final thought: Shredded memory foam pillows are not for everyone because comfort is subjective. We all sleep differently and have different needs. After reading through some of the negative reviews, I've determined that some of them HAD to have been left by people who have never used a shredded foam pillow before and have determined it's not for them. COOP has a generous 100 night, no questions asked refund policy, so it doesn't hurt to try it. I don't view those reviews as a poor reflection of this company's products, but rather that the consumer tried something once and decided shredded foam pillows are not for them. I do have some experience with shredded foam pillows and can tell you that the Eden is, hands down, the best and highest quality that I've found on the market.

Solved my ear pain
I’m a combination sleeper, but primarily a side sleeper. I don’t have large ears or anything, but I do get bad ear pain when I lay on my side. After what felt like an endless search for the right pillow, I found myself thoroughly enjoying this one. I’ve tried the Satvaa latex pillow which everyone online swoons over (it’s not very good, very firm and the fill moves around a ton. Also extremely expensive). I’ve tried the memory foam version of that one as well, same problems. I had the naturpedic solid latex pillow, too firm but at the point the solid pillows solved the shifting around issues that woke me up. Still tons of ear pain that would wake me up. I tried the coop adjustable latex pillow, shifted around too much and still too firm. I tried one from my local Verlo store. Also a bouncy solid talalay latex pillow which just made my head feel like it was on a trampoline! I tried the avocado latex pillow, super firm and fill moves all over the place. Basically all of the really expensive hyped up ones online that supposedly give you the “best sleep of your life.” This one here though… man it’s so comfy! Best way I can describe it is it feels like a cloud. It’s super soft, but supportive somehow. It molds to you, but is still responsive. The fill somehow doesn’t shift around a ton. It’s fully adjustable too. I don’t know if y’all have those same ear issues that I do, but this pillow completely solves that problem. But, if you don’t like to sink into your pillows, then this won’t be for you. You do sink into, but it’s a controlled sink in if that makes sense. You can also adjust it by putting more fill in to make it more firm so I assume you wouldn’t sink into as much. Either way this pillow is basically the perfect pillow in my opinion. It’s just COMFY! That I think is what people should really look for. Comfort. Not all this other technology crap companies use to compete with each other. Also this pillow doesn’t sleep super hot either. Idk how else to say it. This pillow is magic. I have a king size by the way if that matters to you.

5 Month Review - Coop Eden Pillow: A good first investment for a great sleep.
This Coop Pillow is my first investment for a good snooze. It has been my primary head pillow for almost half a year now! For context, I am a rowdy sleeper; I toss and turn, and I rotate from sleeping on my back, side, and head throughout the night. Therefore, I needed a capable pillow to keep up and prevent me from having neckpains in the morning. Long story short, the Coop Eden Pillow didn’t disappoint. 1. Smell: It was stinky! I tried everything from airing it outside for a few hours to washing the pillowcase, yet the horrid stench persists! So, I had no choice but to live with it till my nose got used to it, and eventually it would go away in a few days! 2. Firmness: This pillow is firm, alright. After a few minutes, it is a hard rock slab, which personally I don’t like. 3. Fluffiness: One thing I absolutely love about this pillow is that it doesn’t lose its fluffiness! 5 months in, and it’s still fluffy to hug and hold! 4. Comfort: Suffice to say, I never had any neck pain with this as my primary pillow. 5. Cooling: Thanks to its natural materials, I never had a hot night with this pillow. It stays cool to the touch. Though not to sour on your expectations, that coolness does eventually fade away, as no pillow, regardless of its materials, can hold the icy cool temperature that we all desperately want. 6. Pillowcase: Another downside of this pillow is the amount of pilling and lint it generates! It reached the point I had to buy a lint razor to cull the population of these lint bunnies! 7 Filling: Lastly, the stuffing, the main reason why I brought this pillow in the first place. Aside from the fact it was the culprit behind the smell, it makes up for it by keeping my pillow fluffy. Kudos to the Coop team for providing extra stuffing, though I won’t recommend it as it becomes too firm to my liking. 8. Size: I brought the Queen, thinking it was enough, as it was my first ever Queen-size pillow. Even though it’s true to size, I do sometimes find it a bit lacking. Now I am thinking of buying a King! A nice little upgrade. Buy Again? Yep, saving up for the Crescent shape one for my neck. Recommend? Nah, I bet it will put off some people coz of its smell.

Coop Eden is better than down feather pillow
My favorite pillow ever. As a side sleeper, I have been using down feather pillows for years because I need moldability. Moldability provides neck support and allows pillow to cradle/conform to my head. Solid memory foam pillows are too firm and tall. Other shredded memory foam pillows have big chunks that feel uncomfortable. This pillow is the best combination of all pillows. No big chunks, very moldable, soft yet supportive, adjustable height. At first, I switched back to my down feather pillow, thinking that I liked my head sinking into the pillow. However, I would wake up with my head too low without enough support- the feather pillow would feel flattened and too firm. I tried the Coop pillow again and have not used a different pillow since. Been using for many months now. Moldable, soft yet supportive, maintains support overnight. While it did take me a short time to get used to, this pillow is better than feather pillows (even with high down percentage). Comparisons: The Avocado pillow from Costco seemed great for one month, but it also has large chunks/pieces inside and is not height adjustable. After about a month of use, I did not like it anymore. The Costco version has a different composition (not as much latex) than the original and reviews online say the original pillow is much superior. FluffCo down alternative pillow is not a good alternative to down. Too much filling, not adjustable, does not feel similar to down. After years of using down feather pillows (including one used by a high-end hotel), I now prefer the Coop Eden.

Soft, supportive, and doesn’t sleep hot
This was my first adjustable pillow, and overall I’ve been really happy with it so far. I’m mainly a back and side sleeper, and being able to remove some of the filling right away made a huge difference in getting the height and support dialed in more comfortably. The pillow itself is very soft and fluffs up nicely without feeling flat or lifeless. I also like that you can kind of shape and adjust it however you want depending on your sleeping position instead of being stuck with one fixed feel. I wouldn’t personally say it sleeps “cold” like some marketing claims make it sound, but it definitely doesn’t trap heat or sleep noticeably hot either. It stays comfortable throughout the night without getting stuffy. Overall, this has been one of the more comfortable pillows I’ve used, especially once I customized the fill amount a bit. Turns out the secret to better sleep was apparently becoming a pillow engineer.

Great pillow, but LOTS OF PROBLEMS--- SMELLS BADLY! I MEAN REALLY BAD!
UPDATE-1/28/20 I found even after I had air dried it and High speed inside with ac on (BIG POWERFUL) fan dried it for what is now days when I went to take some stuffing out, the inside was still WET! EWWW, and that was after MUCH FLUFFING and even more time in from of a fan in non humid conditions! I noted that the stuffing I took out, and put in a paper bag for the time being as I was still adjusting, that also stayed wet for DAYS and this about about 2-3 gallons-uncompressed. WHY? Chemicals? The laundry soap I used was a very mild baby ALL baby detergent. So that should in no way be a problem for a "washable" pillow. The wet stuff sort of compresses and is very sneaky about it. Probably not a problem for those who like to cook them in a dryer. But for me, BIG PROBLEM! EEEK, Then I got an ear infection as I sleep on that side ....on what was a wet on the inside pillow for days. EEEK.....ALSO, the cover, though only washed once, and has had a smooth new pillowcase mostly on, has pilled and fuzzed ALL OVER THE SURFACE! So Im taking a star away! Yes I still find it comfy very much so, but for what I paid...NO THESE THINGS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! ON TOP OF THAT PUTRID SMELL. Seller should contact me! NOT HAPPY! Ok, the only reason why this is 4 and not 5 stars is the STENCH! For something that is certipur and all the other sooo safe for you labels, + the high price tag, then WHY did it arrive smelling like a mix of vomit and nail polish remover. (why not WASH the foam FIRST Coop??!) Absolutely PUTRID! Now let me say this, I own no less than 15 pillows, (yes really!) bed toppers and a memory foam bed, so I KNOW about off gassing and I KNOW about new foam SMELLS. I have a nose that KNOWS. And my entire queen sized memory foam mattress only had a SLIGHT odor once unwrapped, that was gone in about 5 hours and MILD (meaning only when standing next to it or laying on it, not -house filling-. So that is sort of scary to me and would like the manufacturer to respond as to what specifically, chemical wise, causes that powerful, awful, odor! I mean would you lay your head on a pillow soaked in paint thinner or varnish or nail polish remover or vomit? NO! So this is a PROBLEM! BIG PROBLEM. How can they have all these ITS SO SAFE LABELS with THAT SMELL?? They say put it in a dryer WITH DRYER SHEETS (chemical soup right there), is that to DISGUISE the SMELL? I would not recommend doing that! That's even WORSE! I put it outside for a day!, Brought it inside and half the house STUNK like this vomit-nail polish yuck! Who wants to put their face or skin or head on THAT?!?!? WHAT IS THAT SMELL!?!?! My cure was STRAIGHT INTO THE WASHER for a LOOOONG DEEP WATER SOAKING WASH! And I am happy to say IT WORKED, smell 98.5% GONE with just a tiny hint of something, and I felt MUCH better about putting my eyes, nose and face on it! Took about 3 days for it to vanish completely. I am happy to report that it dried well and quickly in front of a high speed fan (in air conditioning) with a couple manual fluffings and turnings, with the outer cover drying separately, it was completely dry within an hour and half! Getting it BACK in the cover was a wrestling match as it had fluffed SO MUCH! That was a headache as an older person! Even a younger person would struggle. Trick is to BEND IT at the end, hold with knees, stretch with arms and PULL. Forget Goat Yoga, with this pillow you can have Pillow Yoga! I also have to mention here, that though it says no pillow case needed, I am a pillow case person. Getting it into a pillowcase is ANOTHER 3 round wrestling match, and these are normal queen sized cases. This pillow has more Square than Rectangular to it if that makes sense, I personally think, again for the price, it's not a TRUE QUEEN sized. The width is GREAT but but needs more length. It is small compared to my other "queen sized" pillows. I call chintzy on the size! Now with all my complaints out of the way, let me say I was a skeptic. My low loft Z marloff pillows going on about 9 years old were going FLAT as a pancake (Talaylay latex) and well past being useful despite my pampering of them. I was sleeping on TWO of them with a MYPILLOW on top! Yeah, so I was sleeping like a L with my neck WAY UP here. Then DIGGING a hole in the MYPILLOW every night to make a hole for my head, which resulted in my head laying on 4 chunks of foam (ok honestly maybe 10 chunks) with a snow plowed pile of foam on either side of my head. I developed a BAD NIGHT ONLY COUGH with the MYPILLOWS! I was waking up with headaches, vertigo, sinus, stiff neck...I also was not sleeping well AT ALL, waking up every 2-3 hours or so, not sleeping my normal 8+. I was getting insomnia and I've never had insomnia! I am a combo back and side sleeper, mostly side, though for many years I was mostly all back! And nothing seriously medically wrong with me to account for any of that! Though I do suffer from vertigo from a broken neck with concussion from many years ago. In my frustrations I bought MANY PILLOWS, MYPILLOWS (I bought a couple and even tried using 2 at the same time, NO!), 2 more Z marloff the exact same as what I had, but they arrived like heavy HUGE lumps of stone. I tried some of the cheaper well sung pillows here, in the 30-50 dollar range, with both chunk fills, and solid foam types. One came CLOSE to being it, but it wasn't! I would move the fill and it would move back and go flat and hard. I kid you not when I say I have about 15 pillows (at least!). And forget the cheapie poly only fill Walmart types, those NEVER worked for me. So suddenly in my youtube experience I was spammed with these Coop ads. I mean SPAMMED. And I watched them so I got MORE COOP SPAM. And I finally went to their website and took their little quiz that said I needed an Eden. And I laughed. I was going to buy a pillow made by what to me looked like some KID! A mere CHILD is going to have the perfect pillow for OLD ME??? (Why do I hear OK BOOMER going off in my head?) But I was haunted. OK, so just ONE MORE HIGH PRICED PILLOW. My Gawd how much have I already spent in my fruitless search! I don't even want to think about it! The first night I tried my old habit died hard putting it atop my old pillows. OH NO. NO NO NO. My frustration was starting! So I tossed those off the bed and tried it just by itself, I did not remove nor ad any of the extra filling it came with. First night was without a pillow case. It felt a LITTLE hard to me, but I was soon fast asleep-and trust me I can lay awake an hour or more but I was OUT in 15 min or less. (and I also noted on a VERY cold night-inside of the house was about 58, it was a little hard till I had laid on it 15 min but sure enough, it was just a cold foam thing, which as a person with a LOT of memory foam things, I understand that!) And short of that wake up potty trip, I slept like I had not slept in YEARS! I also woke up with waffle lines on one side of my face that hung around half the day! :( So the pillow case went ON even though it was a fight! Each night I keep saying, I think I am going to try to take a little filling out, (and I still might) but every night since owning this I lay down and I am falling asleep MUCH faster-in under 20 min even if trying to watch a little pre sleep TV lol, staying asleep MUCH longer and I WANT to be in bed! Usually I would wake up in a couple hours and just dread the idea of going back to sleep due to headaches, allergy like symptoms, coughing and I was paying for it by not getting enough sleep. I did not feel well. I am also spending more time laying on my back which is more natural for me though I am also sleeping on my side, (I had always been a back sleeper up till about 10 years ago, then became a mostly side sleeper, and then a combo sleeper). It felt HOT to me one night, but since putting a case on it, it does not feel nor make me hot, and I am a HOT sleeper in a major way. The cover is very soft and does ad to the feel good but I like smoooooth, not something quilted! AND If it was miserably hot I would be singing long and loud about that factor! Bottom line, the right pillow is the one that works for YOU. This pillow, after a long and EXPENSIVE and FRUSTRATING SEARCH works GREAT for me! I LOVE IT! THIS IS THE ONE, THIS IS IT. I want to walk into my room and have a light focus on it and hear angels singing! I feel that strongly about it! It has given me my 8 hours of sleep back. I do not have to spend 15 min making some sort of pillow fort for my head only to wake up 3 hours later feeling bad! I do not have to dig and claw at it like the worthless MYPILLOW. I can make a little dent in it or a little support roll for my neck with my hand easily! I am getting a restful sleep that I have not experienced since my first Z marloff pillows YEARS ago. I mean YEEEEEEEEEARSSSS! Coop, I want to THANK YOU for spamming youtube ads in my face, THANK YOU for your silly little website quiz and THANK YOU for taking my money (wince, I still think its overpriced!) Thank you for making a pillow that can take being WASHED! Thank you for making a pillow that can be ADJUSTED! Thank you for making a pillow that is both SOFT and MALLEABLE and AND SUPPORTIVE! Good sleep is a precious wonderful thing, and I have my good sleep back thanks to you! (But wut is that SMEEEEEEELLLL?) I think I will be back for another as I do NOT want it to be like the Z marloff where you come back 5-10 years later for another and something was changed and not for the better. Whatever you did Coop, you did it RIGHT! From the bottom of my heart-THANK YOU FOR ENDING MY PILLOW SEARCH! BUT PLEASE EXPLAIN AND FIX THAT SMELL, it is SCARY BAD!

Love love love this pillow. 10 stars.
If I could give this pillow a rating higher than a five, I would by all means. When it says it cools it really cools. I am a hot sleeper and I usually keep the house very cold at night. I have been able to move the temperature gauge up by 2°. The cooling is just a perk, the pillow itself is so freaking amazing. I usually have TMJ pain, neck, pain, and upper back pain, throughout the day and with this pillow it’s only three days in. I can say that the pain is nearly gone. I love the fact that I can adjust how many little pieces are in this pillow by removing some. I personally have all the pieces in there, but would have no problem removing some if I’m having a hard time sleeping and putting them back when I want them back. This pillow is absolutely amazing. It is worth the money and remember you are worth the money. you work hard every day to wake up with aches and pains? Go to sleep and comfort get one of these pillows you’re worth it.

Buena compra👍
