Great quality product. Does what it needs to do.

I purchased this product 2 months ago, but did not open the package until I needed it. And guess what, IT DOES NOT WORK on multiple computers. Too late to return, you win some and you lose some.

Works well with my Surface laptop. I don’t like the big headphones that hurt my ears so I’m using the old corded Apple headphones for work meetings. This converter helped me with that. My ears are happy using the Apple headphones.

Does not work

Perfect! So much better than the USB headphones that came with the laptop, which did not provide a reliable connection when using Teams on CloudPC. Now I'm using my older Apple earpods with the adapter (connecting into yet another USB hub) and this set-up has not failed me yet! One end of the adapter does get warm even if not in a call, but it's not too bad. Great quality, 5 stars!

Bought this in February of this year. Worked well. Then today in June it decides to not work out of no where. Don't buy it.

I was about to return this adapter before I tried it out on my Surface. I ordered USB A male to Lightning female. Take a look at my packaging. It shows USB C to 3.5MM AUX. The photo only shows a headphone photo on the lightning end but the device doesn’t. Lucky for the seller, I attempted plugging in both lightning and C and it truly is lightning. Disappointed in the confusion. Glad however that the Microsoft Teams test call sounded okay. We’ll see how an actual meeting sounds

What a great little adapter. It works with any device I plug it into and I haven't had any issues so far. Plug and Play functionality and ease of use. The build quality is great as well and feels solidly made. Featuring aluminum enclosures on both ends of the cable, it feels premium. The cable itself features a braided sleeve that is flexible and ensures that you will be able to plug it in and run it in any direction. Although the cable length itself is short, I have not found any issues with earphones that are plugged into it reaching my ears. The extra bit of length the adapter provides along with the earphones cable should be sufficient for most use cases. The adapter will show up as it's own sound device and if your earphones have a mic, that will show up as well. Be sure to enable and select this device in your host device sound settings.

Worked on my Windows 10 computer! However, first time around I tried it, I plugged it in before turning on my computer, and there was no audio. To fix it, I unplugged the adapter, and used device manager to uninstall the device which was named "AB13X USB Audio" (it may be different for you). Once you have successfully uninstalled the device, and it is unplugged, restart your computer. After it has booted to the desktop, only then, plug in the adapter into the computer WITHOUT THE AUDIO DEVICE PLUGGED IN, and wait a few seconds. After you have waited 5-10 seconds, then plug in your audio device, and you should be good to go! Audio sounds great, bit overpriced for it's length though.

I'm currently in school studying IT. I got this so that I didnt have to carry around another set of headphones. Ive currently been using my 8 year olds lightup-kitty headphones because my headphones are lightning cable. this product works great, the sound quality is good and very clear. easy to hook up right into the USB port, no configuring required. I am still unsure why we have AUX to lightning dongles but no lightning to AUX dongles. I thought we've made it farther in tech apple...... regardless, you can get this dongle in male-USB and male-C aswell. Thank you so much for making my life easier.
