Kandle by Ozeri Flex LED Reading and Book Light

The Kandle Flex is just a perfect book light, yes it can be used on a Kindle / eReaders but I do love just sitting with a good old book and reading.If I'm honest, it's been a while since I have read a book. The only time I get to read a book is in the evening, and by this time it is far to dark and I don't want to but the 'big light' on, just for me to read.Now since I ordered my self this LED reading light I have really enjoyed reading so much more, not distracting the household with lights on late at night, I can sit in bed and read my book without causing a disturbance.I just needed to pull it apart to clip around my book and it is very very firmly in place. I then read my book as normal turning the pages as normal.The light does have the ability to move so you can move the position per page if you wish, but I have enjoyed just leaving it central as it gives just the right amount of light to cover either page, but doesn't like the room up, so no disturbing the other half when he's asleep.To turn it on you just need to flick the switch which is on the lamp, and now you are ready to read.It arrived really well too, packaged in it compact box, there is also a carry bag to protect your Kandle.The Kandle requires CR2032 batteries, it has 2 inside, and an additional batteries.Since receiving this, a few weeks ago, me and my children have started reading Harry Potter together, so in the evenings we have spare time, we will go to bed earlier and read a chapter per night.I really would recommend this if you are looking for a treat for yourself or maybe even a gift for someone that likes reading!

Bought this to make it possible ot read my Kindle at night - a basic feature you would have thought an e-reader had as standard. If you are buying a 7th generation Kindle make sure you check its specs v. carefully. The newer Kindle Touches have had a lot of functions stripped out of them.This handy device fits on neatly on the Kindle wherever required and the goose-neck design makes it easy to position in such a way you won't disturb anyone sleeping when reading or or getting up during the night. I found it v useful when going on holiday and wanting to avoid waking my insomniac friend. A little switch on the head allows you a choice of two settings - low or high light intensity - and either is sufficeint to allow you to navigate a dark room safely.You could also use it to illuminate a paperback by attaching it to a headboard or even to a chunk of the book itself. I have yet to try this.The design makes it useful where a small, bright light is required - craftwork springs to mind or small fiddly repairs in a hard-to-see or confined space. For example, I intend using it to read the tiny numbers etched on sewing machine needles.It was delivered very quickly and Ozeri thoughtfully supply a spare set of batteries and a small drawstring bag. I thoroughly recommend it.

I bought this a year ago and it worked very well. The light was bright enough and it was a nice fit for the Kindle I had. I haven't used it a great deal (I am still using the original battery), but while I was on holiday recently I noticed that only one of the three LEDs was working properly - the other two flickered on and off distractingly. I tried fitting the replacement battery the seller had included with the original purchase, but that didn't help.This happened 12 months and 4 days after I placed the order, so Amazon tells me I can't return the light. It is, on the surface, a quality item, but it wasn't cheap and, used carefully and sparingly as it was, it should have lasted longer.UPDATE: After contacting the supplier directly they sent me a replacement which is working fine.

This is my second light but different style. Good quality but disappointed with dimming function. No real difference, I expected it to dim enough so as not to disturb my wife while reading in bed.

This light is amazing! It's very bright even on the dimmer setting which is not necessarily a bad thing as you can position the light away so that it doesn't glare too much. It attaches onto your device without marking. Very secure and a flexible adjustment. I chose this one over the original and others as I've seen quite a lot of large bulky clip-on lights I felt were too big. My only slight gripe is unfortunately it doesn't fit over a kindle with a case on but personally for me it is not a problem as I only use my case when I go outside. When i'm inside at night, ready to get under the duvet for some quiet reading time, I take the case off and attach the light. So far so good, no signs of wear and tear. The handy pouch makes travelling a doddle, and extra batteries is such a generous addition!

Bought to replace Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle which was too quickly dimming.I was very happy with the Kandle Flex with 3 bright leds and 2 settings for the light. Both settings are bright and the light dsitribution is good. So far the light remains bright, lasting longer than the Verso light.I was impressed with the quality of the product. It is robust, I would feel happy carrying it around in its handy pouch, in a handbag and I like the way that you can clip the light into the the clip when not using it.It fits very snuggly on my kindle, with rubber so that the kindle is not scratched. I can fit it easily even though I have my kindle in a holder that makes it much thicker.I also use this with paper books. The clip does not work so well with a book, because the rigid clip function is not so easy to attach to a book. However I do manage, although often by balancing the light next to the book, rather than clipping it on.However as this is aimed at e-books I have no hestiation in awarding it the full five stars as it is an excellent good quality product which I would recommend.

This light is an excellent fit for my Kindle, the best light I have ever bought for reading. However, the battery compartment is not protected by a screw, so the little flat batteries are easily accessible. With two small children, I've had to stop using this as those batteries are lethal if swallowed. Please make this safer!

After looking at quite a few different lights for my kindle I chose this one and glad I did. I have had a cheaper bulkier one before and it was awful, this maybe a bit pricier than others on here but it's so much better.Slips neatly into a little pouch that I can carry alongside my kindle in my handbag. It unfolds and clips securely onto the top of my kindle (without having to remove my kindle cover) and lights up (even on the lower brightness setting) my kindle in the dark fantastically. The spare set of batteries that came with the light stay in the push with it so when it runs out I can quickly replace and get on with reading although so far I haven't had to change the batteries and have used quite a few times!This is a great little kindle light, I love it. (Much cheaper than upgrading my kindle to the new one with back light)!

Nach jedem Biegen federt der Arm allerding etwas zurück, daher müssen Sie den Arm etwas stärker biegen als für die gewünschte Endposition erforderlich wäre. Das klingt jetzt aber komplizierter als es ist, nach einigen Versuchen machen Sie das ganz automatisch. Die drei LEDs im Kopf liefern ein angenehmes, nicht blendendes Licht, das auch den Partner im Bett nicht stören sollte. Durch den beweglichen Hals sind Sie in der Ausleuchtung des Displays sehr flexibel und können die Beleuchtung an jede Stellung des Kindle anpassen. Über einen kleinen Schiebeschalter lassen sich zwei Leuchtstärken einschalten, meines Erachtens reicht Stufe I für ein angenehmes Lesen völlig aus. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich durchaus angemessen.Künftig braucht nun auch Dracula bei seinem Verdauungsschläfchen im Sarg nicht mehr auf die Freuden eines Ebook-Readers zu verzichten.

After reading reviews for various kindle lights, I chose the Kandle based mostly on the recommendations and reviews of others. The price also seemed fair compared to other lights and the options that this particular light has. Considering all those things, I am happy to say that the previous reviews were right on the money, and I am very happy with this purchase. The light is plenty bright, and even though it has two different settings, the lower setting is easily enough to read by. The flexible arm is also nice, because it can be bent to any angle, so you can attach the Kandle pretty much anywhere (side or top), and just adjust the light as needed.The light itself actually tucks in between the clip pieces, which is very nice for travel... protects the light from damage.In addition, the clip pieces have a strong grip, and fit nicely over my kindle by itself, but can also be pulled apart to fit over both the kindle and the cover I have on my kindle. It is a bit of a snug fit, and my case is just a canvas and cloth case, so it's possible that you might have a hard time getting the Kandle to fit over your kindle and case if the case is thick leather (but I wouldn't know for sure, the cloth case is the only one I have ever had).I also like that this light came with two sets of batteries (one set already inside). I hate having to go out and buy batteries, so it's nice that this light comes "stocked" and ready to go.Overall, great product, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a light for reading.

Mi serviva una lampadina che facesse luce la sera , permettendomi di leggere, senza recare disturbo.Così è stato: è una piccola lampadina,fa luce, è pratica, già munita delle pile necessarie e di un ricambio, ha una bustina nella quale poterla conservare e trasportare. ottimo acquisto

Su único defecto es que no abre tanto, por lo que, para libros gruesos funciona tomando unas cuantas hojas y poniéndolo en ellas sin abarcar el grueso completo de páginas, pero eso es lo de menos. Ilumina muy bien! Me encantó!!! En su cajita viene con una fundita negra para su transporte. Lo amé!
