For the money this is an absolute bargain- solid steel case and good quality jacks- had a peek inside and all seems well secured.

This Direct Injection box is excellent value, it works very well and is well made. I can recommend it for connecting high impedance sources to a PA. Edited 2013/05/06: I was so impressed with the DI box that I ordered a second one.

Sounds ok, but the first time I came to use it the db pad switch was faulty on it meaning you have to spend 5 minutes finding the spot to move the switch to so the sound comes back on,. Apparently it's too late to send it back so I'm lumped with it now and can't use it live - in case it gets knocked and it cuts the sound off completely. Can just about get away with it at home though. I bought a twin version of this that interestingly had the SAME issue on BOTH the switches - looks like it's a problem with every product. I would advise against this box if at all possible,

I bought one in the USA three years ago and moved back to the UK. Just used it for the first time at a gig and no sound out. Turns out it's the XLR output socket, and I've noticed reviewers on Amazon.com having similar problems with crackling and intermittent output which would point to substandard components and poor quality control. I would guess that the audio transformer would not pass the signal through cleanly and the design of the input attenuator is poor, just resistors to ground. Not to be relied on for professional use.

Very well made with attenuation transformer and clear functional diagram on the case, seems to work well though I have not tested it extensively yet.

Yo la utilizo para conectar mis guitarras y bajos a mi interface de audio (scarlet) y el resultado es muy bueno, corta todo ese ruido que había antes y obtienes una señal limpia. La caja en sí está muy bien construida, se siente de buenos materiales. La verdad es la mejor opción por el precio, no duden en comprarla.

Great little gadget, I wanted to hook up my digital metronome to this little lamp. I knew there was a difference of opinion between the two as in an imbalance in the impedance and all that kinda good stuff, but I really didn’t know what to do about it, so yes, I got a hold of AI and he told me that I needed a DI box, my first thought was what in the hell is a DI box? So anyway, long story short I got this little DI box cheap enough for sure and problem solved works like a hot dam.
