NECA - Gargoyles Broadway 7In Action Figure

As a child Gargoykes was my favorite cartoon. Now, As a collector Neca is one of my favorite companies. Broadway was always the food loving comedian of the New York Gargoyle clan, and this figure captures the character in every detail. The figure is good size and with his wings attached, Broadway is going to take upnsome shelf room. I have the complete line of Gargoyles in my collection and adore them all! The presentation of the figure is top notch from packaging to character detail. Sometimes switching hands can be difficult due to the ball joints being grumpy, but I'm definitely not sorry I got him! Nice figure from a Nostaglic series!

NECA has really done amazing work in bringing The Gargoyles to figure form with their usual talent for detail, and that continues with Broadway. Of course, the frustration also continues with not having folded wings included. While most of the food accessories are appropriate for this character, the weapon leaves me a bit confused. Still, I can't deny I'm glad to have this in my collection to further complete the gargoyle clan. Basically, the lack of folding wings and the confusing inclusion of the weapon are what knocked one star off this otherwise five star figure.

My son fell in love with the Disney tv series Gargoyles back in the late 1990’s when they first came out, he was in pre-school then. He collected most of the action figures back then. Now with the new updated and better looking and better quality, he is collecting the new versions of the Gargoyles. They look great, I would definitely recommend all the Gargoyle Ultimate action figures that NECA has created, I hope they make all the characters from that tv series.
