It needs to be better built. The design of it doesn’t make sense I am all for hacking the top of it off and just using it as stairs. Far too expensive. Find your local woodworker to make you one. Review: Great Toddler Learning Tower - We really love this learning tower! It feels sturdy, well-made, and safe for my toddler to use. The design is simple and practical, and it works great in the kitchen. My only minor complaint is that the wood color is a little lighter than I expected, but overall, we’re very happy with it. Great quality for the price!

Nice and sturdy for my crazy toddler
We’re on our second one. Lots of daily use and this thing holds up nicely.

Look it over before assembly
We had to send the first one back because several pieces were already broken. I had already put a few pieces together by this point, so I had to then take the pieces apart. It’s not the best quality, but it is decent. Instructions are pretty easy to follow. It comes with the screwdriver which is an added bonus.
