Motorcraft Fuel Filter
Itโs a fuel filter. Looks authentic. It fits well. Truck runs well. Last one went 200k miles no problem. Followed YT for installation tips. All good.

Using Pre Fuel Pump in a 7.3 Powerstroke
Removed the silly in-tank fuel filters and put this inline filter before the pump in a 2001 F250 7.3. I rarely change the fuel bowl filter because this one does such a great job and is much cheaper than the fuel bowl filter. This is my second inline filter. I only changed it now because I replaced the pump. Both the previous inline filter and this one said "made in USA" on the filter. I think $20 is a decent price for a domestic part to ad longevity to your ride.

Fuel Filter for a Lincoln Town Car
My Lincoln used to start well, run rough for a few seconds, and kill. After the second or third try, it would run perfectly. It turned out to be a fuel delivery problem. The problem was a dirty or partially plugged fuel filter that restricted fuel to the injectors until the fuel pump had run for a few seconds. On most Fords that use this filter, the big Crown Vics, the Mercury whatever, and the Lincoln Town Car, the fuel filter is located under the car on the passenger side in a special bracket attached to the frame of the car. It is up on the inside of the frame ahead of the right rear wheel. As far as I know, Ford uses two types of "quick connectors" to attach the fuel lines to the filter. Either type is simple. You can find a "how to install" video on You Tube. This maintenance part is probably the first place to look if you suspect a fuel delivery problem. This part is genuine Motorcraft, it came promptly at a good price, installed and fit perfectly, and resolved the starting problems on my Lincoln.

Great OEM replacement, very easy to install.
This is usually an overlooked item, when performing routine maintenance. Even though I do most of the work on my '03 F150 FX4 Lariat, I rarely ever think about the fuel filter. I replaced the original after 9 years, in 2012! Time to order another. Removing the stock filter is pretty easy, but please follow these precautions. 1. Turn off the fuel pump (for pickups, the disconnect switch is usually found in the front passenger side kick panel area, refer to your owner's manual). 2. Start the engine in a ventilated area, and let the engine die after consuming all the fuel that was in the line. 3. Disconnect the negative terminal on the car battery. After this, just locate the fuel filter (it's between the fuel tank and the fuel pump, usually mounted on the inside of the chassis rail, on the side where the fuel tank door is). Note the flow direction, or if buying the same brand, then the shape how it's oriented), and introduce the new filter. The disconnecting becomes easier if you have the special disconnect tool like this one Lisle 37000 Air Conditioning/Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set , but it's not absolutely necessary. There are tons of YouTube videos that show you how to do this, or you can buy the Haynes manual for your vehicle.

Perfect Replacement
When I replace filters I usually use OEM filters since some aftermarket units are made to fit a multitude of applications. This fit my F-150 pickup perfectly and there were not any installation hassles that can be associated with some aftermarket units. I didn't realize how dirty my filter was until I removed it. This is usually the one filter that is overlooked by owners because it is not visible and with current automotive electronics adjustments are automatically made to compensate for reduced fuel flow so the owner doesn't notice any performance issues. The down side is that your fuel pump has to work harder resulting in increased wear. I will now make fuel filter replacement a normal part of my routine maintenance after seeing how much debris was caught by this filter.

Correct OEM fuel filter for my 2005 Ford E450 6.8L V10 Motorhome
The correct part for my Ford 2005 E450 6.8L V10 - replacing the fuel filter was long overdue, I bought the Motorhome with 30K miles, it now has close to 50K. When I removed the old filter, I was shocked at the amount of black gunk that came pouring out of it - it did its job and was probably overdue. I don't think the previous owner ever changed it on schedule. Last summer, I was having problems at the end of long trips when getting near home in the AZ heat, where the motor would sputter, and at times cut out when accelerating from a stop light, and at times at freeway speeds. Now I know why, the fuel filter was not letting enough flow to the injectors, and when it got hot and expanded it would get worse. I was also having an issue on cold starts, where it would not fire on the first attempt, and would require a second turn of the key to get the engine to fire. Again, a sign of a fuel flow problem.... once I put this new filter in, the engine fires up on cold start the first time, every time, and the engine runs and accelerates much more smoothly. I am going to make sure I religiously change the filter every 15 - 20K miles moving forward, or every two to three years as this vehicle sits a lot since it is a motor home. Thanks for reading.

OEM Part Good, but no clips ?!?!?
Item as described. I own a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria P71 & I installed this fuel filter this with ease. 80% of the time I use OEM parts by Motorcraft. It comes with the the OEM Motorcraft Box & it was shipped in a larger box for protection. The only downside with this item is it doesn't come with new clips, so be careful removing the old ones as they may break. Fortunately I was able to remove mine without any problems. Plastic does get brittle & breaks & for that I give this Item an OK rating.

Nice original filter at good price
Fits 2005 ford freestar. This does what it is suppose to do. Changed mine on ford freestar and its working great. The old filter at 195000 km was full of black stuff. Changing it is not so hard and i did not want to pay a mechanic 70-80 bucks for a part that costs 10 bucks and takes 5 minutes to change. And I am 100% sure they wont use original filter as they always go with cheap parts(unless you go to delaer and pay may be more than 100 bucks) . My van was struggling to start in the morning and was jerking for few minutes when i started to drive and i was not able to accelerate. Glad i did not go to mechanic and pay atleast 50 bucks to do "DIAGNOSIS" and pay another 70-80 extra bucks to install it. Problem solved.
