There's a little trick in cleaning a car: clean the inset surface of the wheel and it makes your car look more new. Seriously. If you clean the front surface of your wheels, it looks good, but if you get back inside and clean the inner surface of the wheel and get that grime out, it just makes the car look more new. I've used brushes like toilet brushes or jammed my hand back in there (or taken the wheel off) to get into that inner surface, but this brush makes it a breeze! I should have bought one of these a long time ago. Spray some wheel cleaner in there and push this brush back and through, move it around, and you can pretty much get the entire surface. Yes, it's a twisted metal core that holds the bristles, but there is a sturdy protective cap on it and the bristles are strong enough that the core doesn't touch the wheel surface. The little circular flap of rubber just in front the handle serve to keep stuff from flicking back when pulling the brush out from the wheel. The brush is big enough to handle deep wheels with ease. This was a solid purchase. I don't know how much a brush should cost, and this brush wasn't super cheap, but not super expensive... it shows it's value when used, though. Again, solid purchase.

I have black rims on my new truck and after using this 3 or 4 times, I could start to see major scratching on the wheel surface. Also, the part of the brush that does all the work near the tip started to flatten out and got matted down.Now I have a fun project ahead to try to buff out all the thousands of fine scratches on each wheel so if you have blacked out rims, stay far away from this.

Not a bad brush for the price. Deffinatly better out there. The wire on the inside seems kinda flimsy. Just flinging it after cleaning the brush to get the water off, it tends to bend. If you push to hard or have a tight clearance between your caliper and wheel barrel, it tends to bend as well. The good, it gets all the wheel. The bristles aren't to stiff and or to soft. The middle has a plastic sleeve so not to scratch your investment " wheel" the rubber stoo protects not only the wheel but your hand from hitting the rim. All in all, a decent brush.

If you can see the rim's behind you aluminium wheels, this is the only way to clean them. I have scent many a knuckle trying to get a rag back there. Just bend the brush a little and you can get to those tight spaces. Love the product.Update......I only used this thing about three times and the red bristles are falling off. What a dissapointment. I may buy another one because I like the concept. However, if the bristles continue to fall off, I will be completely disappointed and not recommend the product.

Wasn't what was expecting when I receive and used this product. The rubber piece covering the metal disappeared and I had to make a new rubber piece to put around it. The bristle are very hard and not as soft as i think it should have been. I would go with something else to do the job as it can scratch whatever you are working on. 2 stars because it does the job i need it to do.

Just what I was looking for! The brush is the long enough and skinny enough to reach to the back of my wide wheels. The metal parts are plastic-coated to avoid scratching my polished wheels. The bristles are not super stiff, but should be effective for maintenance cleaning. It seems sturdy, but I have not used it enough to determine hoe long it will last.

I read a few mixed reviews and was hesitant to buy this brush. I am glad I did! It cleans great and is easy to hold. The bristles are firm enough to clean but soft enough I am not worried about damaging my wheels. Highly recommended!

I used this brush for the first time on my Jeep spider monkey Wheels. It's just the right size to get into all of the nooks and crannies and at the same time clean the barrel effectively. I'm not sure how well it will hold up but it seems to be very well built.
