Keep one in stock
I ordered this as a replacement so I could keep one on hand for the next time my AC goes out when it is 110 degrees outside. This happened to me and my AC guy said these caps go out about every 5 years. A few bucks for a Cap in stock that you can replace in about 10 min. (if you know what you are doing... otherwise call an AC guy) instead of a 400.00 repair in a couple of days, is worth it.

Good, if you can get Amazon to actually deliver it...
Capacitor seems fine but Amazon's delivery is horrible. I have ordered three of these and only 1 ever made it to my doorstep. 2 went missing, 1 of which was delivered as an empty envelope...literally the amazon guy put and empty flat envelope on my doorstep and claimed "Product was delivered"...... Anyway, the cap seems to be doing well, but I'm hesitant to order more of these because whatever origin warehouse they are shipping from is a bit of a 3 ring circus....

Keep one on hand
When the AC stops working it is always handy to have a spare on hand. I typically replace the capacitor every couple of years. A service call is expensive and they will charge a lot for a capacitor. Shut off the power to the AC and test with a voltage meter to make sure you are safe. Careful! Remember that the old capacitor might still have a high voltage charge. Take pictures and put in the new part. I can't comment on longevity because I change them every few years.

Fast delivery and AC up in hoy climate.
Had tried local Grainger outlet, but they took longer, didn’t communicate when it arrived and was the wrong one. Amazon seller actually notified that it would arrive in two days instead of three. Unit was a little smaller in diameter, but that was easily adjusted. It was several dollars less expensive than Grainger or other sellers locally. It’s been working hard in an area that requires almost non-stop use.
