Aside from it fitting perfectly on the ps5. It does nothing else. The fan is really loud in and noisy. The speed isn’t close to enough to help cool down anything. Your ps5 will get hot and stay hot no matter how long this is turned on. I do not recommend. Hopefully be able to return the item and try another one out. UPDATE. Was contacted by the seller for the issue and was resolved immediately. The customer service is great and the product was replaced with a new one and it works perfectly! Super quiet, great RGB colors. The 3 modes are great depending on your gameplay and time playing. %150 would recommend this item to anyone needing a cool way to style up and cool down your console.

I got a unit that was new and it’s definitely not quiet. I’ve been around systems and PCs for years (30+) to know a quiet fan when it’s supposed to be quiet. This is NOT quiet. I can hear it from across the room. Also the build quality is cheap. The fans are also open from the side, nothing to enclose them and protect them from cables or anything falling into the fans. The switch also has no memory. Although it defaults to ON, each time I turn off and put the PS5 into rest mode, the USB port is powered again turning on the fans when the PS5 is not on. I know USB is powered so you can charge the controllers, however there is no reason for the fan to be running overnight. Very disappointed. Will be getting another brand that is more enclosed and actually provides a real USB v3 pass-thru also.

I bought this due to PS5 turning off overheating because I live in a hot area and a day later start making loud noise , I’m following up on this review the seller contacted me and sent me one without me asking for replacement. So far so good. PlayStation kept overheating and shutting down. Hasn't since cooling fan installation. Was easy to install. Quiet. Happy with my purchase as of so far.

I have only tried this once but post usage the PS5 was much much cooler as compared to previous uses. I wasn’t sure how this silent apparatus would help it cool down but it does work pretty well, but just based on a single use.

Utilizo em conjunto com um dissipador de alumínio fixado a um ssd m2 e zerou o superaquecimento do meu ps5! Já cheguei a ficar um sábado inteiro jogando diablo 4 (com ele funcionando no direto em modo "qualidade de imagem" ) e o console não indicou aquecimento em nem um momento. Obs: Acredito que se não puser o dissipador de alumínio no SSD não tenha a mesma eficiência! Indico utilizar essa ventuinha com o dissipador no ssd.

manages heat better now. quiet operation. pulls out hot air well. this is not for slim/pro edition ps5 console. please check before you purchase.

Good fan for the price and helps keep the air circulating. You can hear it but it's not too loud.
