Lady Killer 2

I knew it was going to happen. I sat down and was fully submerged into this story...with its incredible illustrations and beautifully dark story line. Time didn't exist. Page after page I was just there in the story with Josie. Then it happened......I finished the book. Now I'm pacing the house, stalking comic websites for updates on when the next issue is expected to release. If you have put off reading this series, stop. Read it already!!

Excellent art and a fun, entertaining story. Warning, it’s gory and best for mature readers. If a third volume ever appears, I’ll buy it.

I can't get enough of this story! I love the character. She is developing and is a bit different in this vol. In vol. 1, she was a traditional housewife hired hit-man. In this vol, she's gone on her own and is navigating the world of professional crime on her own. We see more background story and her home life. The relationship between her and her mother-in-law takes a front seat. Overall, I'm hooked. Check this one out. The art is amazing.

Speedy delivery and item arrived in perfect condition

When I first read Lady Killer I thought the character was very interesting like she was another version of Dexter. The story line was good. I'm definitely buying more of the comic books.

This volume was killer! It was so much more violent and bloody than the first volume. I really love our main character Josie. She’s even more complex and strong than I originally thought. She still manages to protect and care for her family while running her independent contract killer business. And the direction of this comic is taking has me like 🙌🏻 SO good!! Just like the first volume, the art and coloring are beautiful. I can’t get enough. Let’s hope Vol 3 doesn’t keep me waiting so long...

As much as I liked Lady Killer Vol 1, I adore LADY KILLER 2, because it is pure Joelle Jones! Not every artist can write, but Jones is a happy exception, and clearly she has been plotting Josie's journey from the jump. Josie is now freelancing her murders, in a new town, and accepts clean- up assistance from an older assassin who has an unlikely connection to her pain of a mother-in-law. Complications ensue involving WWII and trouble on the homefront. But seeing her Happy Homemaker approach applied to an ever-escalating series of Hitchcockian shocks is, well, like watching Grace Kelly turn into Cary Grant, to be honest: it is a delight seeing Josie elevate from domesticity to independence so magnificently :D

Linework for days, great panels, superb tight wickedly funny writing, so why no volume 3????? Thats the real crime.
