The price here is validated by the value. If you think about the amount of plastic versus the cost and the relative shape being pretty much a half teaspoon or so measuring spoon, they seem expensive. But on the day they arrived my tiny dog had a spec on his ear that I couldn’t see clear enough to confirm it was a tick, but that wouldn’t brush off. I got out one of these and easily put it in place and pulled the thing out. It was a tick. I don’t know of any other tool out there that would have easily removed it without crushing it in the process. It’s now several days later and the area has stayed clear (no skin irritation or lesions) so I’m confident that despite the ticks tiny size the head came out. Additional perks are that the angle of approach is perpendicular to the skin so it was easy to get in place without squirming etc, and then the function of prying from that angle is easy with minimal contact or pressure on surrounding flesh. Anyway, I’m usually thrifty and felt like this design was worth the price of admission after just one use

I had some of these myself and bought this particular package for my mom who lives in Connecticut, where there are lots of ticks. So easy to use and works awesome. Would always use these to get ticks out and I keep them in my purse and car and home. Highly recommended to effectively take ticks out easily.

Bought from this listing a couple of years ago (June of 2024) and have used them quite a number of times. We've used them to scoop ticks off that haven't yet embedded as well as to remove ticks that have latched on. Very pleased with the product. Wish we didn't need this, but I'm now considering buying more to make sure everyone in the family can find one easily.

I can’t say enough about this product! I received it yesterday & used it to remove a tick from my husband today. It was embedded & I grabbed this tool & used as directed. SO easy, & it’s so much better not to grab the tick with fingers or tweezers to avoid squeezing toxins into the bite area. I dropped it right into an old Rx bottle filled with alcohol. I then sent a link to friends & family & told them to order it. Ticks are horrible this year!!

This is a good idea for tick removal. Using tweezers often results on squeezing the tick contents into the person or animal the tick is attached to and that increases the odds of getting an infection. Tweezers often leave pieces of the tick behind as well. This product allows you to get under the tick and pull straight up so you get the whole tick off without squeezing it. I've used it numerous times and it works well. It can be hard when the tick is flipping around since you have to get perpendicular to the body to get it to work so you just have to keep moving the scoop until you get it where it will work. My biggest complaint is the choice of colors. I pretty much use the light colored ones because it's easier to see the tick. I can't really use the dark colored ones so I feel those are a bit of a waste in the multi-pack. It's also a little harder to clean since it's plastic. I have a similar product in metal and that one is easier to clean, plus it's a little smaller. I would recommend having these or a similar product with you all the time during tick season.

It really works well. There are lots of ticks in our area. In the first week after receiving the devices, I used it to remove 2 tiny ticks. The device worked extremely well to scoop the ticks from my skin where they were imbedded.

The are the best and easiest tick removers I have found. I have been using them for about 3 yrs. now and will keep using them.

I previously tried the Tick Tornado, and they worked well. The Original Ticked Off, however, are much easier to use and even my grandchildren can use them. We are pleased we tried these tick removers because ticks are prevalent where we live. The Original Ticked Off tick removers are a must have if you live where ticks are not an "If I get a tick on me," but rather "When I get a tick on me."
