Excellent Walking Shoe with fun pattern - Brooks “Launch” line
Deep soft cushioning in these Brooks make feet comfy and snug. Fun pattern to wear. Laces nice and long for double tie. Super light on your feet and offer good stability. These are a lot lighter than Brooks Adrenaline line and a nice change up if you’re walking everyday. I use these on my shorter walks. Toe box has a lot of room to move around but not too much whereby your foot would shift. Hold up well over time and are easy to clean. Great price too if you need a few pair. These are very durable and I already bought a 2nd pair in a different pattern! *** The pair in the pictures attached have over 200,000 steps outside and still feel great.

Lightweight neutral shoes
These are lightweight neutral shoes, they should only be worn by people that have a confirmed neutral stride. If you are over pronator, or over supinator, then you should not use these shoes. Especially for running, you must have shoes that fit the way that your foot strides. You can usually get this service done at a local running store, with no obligation to buy at the very expensive inflated prices. And then go on here and find good shoes that are a few years old, that still fit your needs. These shoes work very well, they are very light, they are very neutral, and the cushioning is very minimal and they're very responsive. If this is what you need to suit your needs, and this is what you're used to, then these are excellent shoes. The ark support is fairly minimal, the heel cushion is fairly minimal, but the stride feel, and the roll through into the amount of energy that you put into the shoe, is fair.

I've run ever Launch
More a review of myself than the shoe. A person never steps in the same river twice, for its waters are ever-flowing. So too their footwear. I have run in every Launch since the original, comically fugly chartreuse-and-bright-orange. These days I use 3-4 of each model. Why always the same shoe? U probably heard this advice around the running community: vendors have their own unique foot molds that they typically use on many shoes. The game is finding the vendor with the mold closest to your foot. As you age, and more life-stuff builds up around you, the shoe becomes a commodity – you need it to perform consistently and not require much planning or input. Launch 9 is a significant update. Totally new tongue! The plush tongue is gone, the new one is flat and stiff, with just a tiny bit of padding. The lace loop also moved one notch closer to the toe. I'm down with the new tongue, it is a little bit harder to scrunch up when you cinch the shoes. They probably shaved a whole 0.01 ounce off! The heel of this one has gone totally robocop. I have never busted the heel out of a shoe. Back on earlier Launches, right after they switched away from leather, I would bust open the sidewalls before wearing out the treads. The plastic uppers have come a long way, tho. I have a pile of 7s and 8s, all uppers fully intact. The laces also continue to evolve. The 7s had these very flat, almost tiny, laces, that were SO easy to tie up in knots. The fabric would compress into a very tight little bundle. The 8 laces were a much more traditional braided affair, and never got tied up. The 9 laces are even tinier than the 7s, and very flat, but they also have a little bit of a slippery surface making them easier to unknot, and they don't compress like the 7s... not yet. Guess I can't get away without mentioning the colorways. The Launch has had many wild designs, going back to that original. I love it. My least favorite pair were actually the all-black ones. By the second pair I buy of any model, the less popular colors can be found for $80. But I have to say this newest pair with the light-teal and orange, is fairly attractive by conventional shoe standards. Running is good for your cardiovascular health and your mental health. Have a wonderful day.

Very good basic running shoe from Brooks, cushiony enough, comfortable.
Comfortable and the normal width in size 12 is properly wide. I have purchased Launch in the past, had some Launch 6 shoes I liked. I bought some Launch 7's and they felt as though Brooks had changed them some and I didn't like the changes. They fit differently, were tight, not as comfortable. So I didn't buy any more of the Launch series. 3-4 years later I saw these Launch 9 models and decided to give them a shot. I've run in them 4 times so far and like them as much as a liked the Launch 6 model. The Launch 6 was a pretty durable show, got 500 miles + in the ones I had before they wore too much and they were still good for kicking around in after I quit using them for running. My preferred brand is Adidas and I have several pairs of shoes I rotate when running, but these are definitely part of the rotation going forward. If they fall apart early or something like that I will add that later, but they appear very well made. I run 30 to 35 miles per week and am 69 years old.

Light as a feather, yet good cushioning.
I will admit, I was going to go with On Clouds but these Brooks were half the price. I've been running in crappy New Balances, so I decided to treat myself to real running shoes. I also tried out the Adrenaline GTS. I have wide feet... I prefer EEEE but EE can usually work. The GTS's were heavier, pricier, and didn't fit my running style. The outside edge of the heel landed first, which then jerked my foot and ankle inward. I'm sure there is a running name for this process. I didn't like that. The Launches didn't do this, so combined with the price, ample cushioning (compared to my NB's) and feather light weight, they stay and the GTS's go. The On Clouds will have to wait... Update: I'm up to almost 400 miles and I still love these Launch 9's. I just bought a pair of Ghost 15's, so we'll see how those compare. Gonna be tough to beat these Launches!!!!!!! I love them. Update 2: Had a chance to try the new Ghosts. My thoughts: The Launches are better!! They're lighter yet somehow have more shock absorption and springy-ness. I'll continue to wear them until they die then I'll switch to the Ghosts. And then, I'll buy a pair of Launch 10's if I can get them on sale.

Best bang for your buck!
I have owned several pairs of these shoes, specifically the 9's. I am a 43 yr old Cross Country Coach and have put many young athletes in these for training and racing and they have delivered. My son is a high school freshmen and rotates 3 pairs of these for his training; zero complaints. I previously have run in Saucony, New Balance, Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Sketchers, Mizuno, Puma & probably a few I forget. I started running exclusively in Brooks about 5 years ago and have zero regrets. They hold up to 300-500 hard miles and look good doing it. I have a very normal (11.5M) shaped foot with an athletic arch. My sons foot has a wider toe box than mine and he also loves the fit.

The shoes fit perfectly and are the most comfortable Brooks to date. These are my favorite ones. Super cheap price, look great and feel incredible. I've owned Brooks Beast, Ghost, and others...these are my favorite. Can't go wrong with Brooks Launch. Perfect shoe.

Hard wearing and comfortable
I've used these on a mix of trail running, and road running. Just over 1500km and they are still good as new....minus a little tread lol. They are really comfortable and dry out quick if you decide to run in the rain. Excellent value for money!

Top Laufschuh
