You will not believe what you see when you use this saw
Easily a five-star product! Excellent value and function. I've had this saw since the beginning of 2025 and I've cut literally hundreds and hundreds of pounds of kindling with it, trimmed large secondary branches and it's truly unbelievable that the blade is virtually as sharp it was when I first got it. It's easy to use, deploy and carry. It simple to use as it cuts only on the backstroke. I just got done cutting a massive amount of a white oak that came down on my property and the thing is virtually indestructible. You will never regret purchasing this product.

Perfect for pruning shrubs.
This is designed to get the job done. Easy to use on thick branches. When you’re done it folds up for safety. Great replacement of pruning shears.

Great for bike touring.
Great little saw it cuts pine great. I wouldn't go over 4 in but other than that it's awesome. Not as light as a silky but it seems to cut as well.

Good value. Sharp and cuts fast.
Used this to cut our 14ft Christmas tree this year. Easily cut right thru the trunk and took off a few branches. I was surprised at how quickly and effortlessly it cut. The 8” size is good and versatile. I guess for much larger work you might need a longer size, but the long it gets the less stable the blade will be. 8” handled this tree and some additional logs easily.

Great saw!
I bought a few of both 8" and 10" to test during a workday on a native prairie remnant with several volunteers. First, I though I may have found gold, only to find out that many of the very experienced volunteers already knew how great these are. In the same kind of work and random other uses such as trail riding, camping and a host of other uses making these a staple in basic gear. My observation as soon as I got them was the 8" is a stiffer blade, and although the same thickness the 10" had more flex, more than I'd expect. That doesn't mean it's not a great saw, but the 2" difference doesn't matter when doing the same work. I used the 8" and first, it was great to be able to quickly fold it up and stow it in pocket while doing something else, then quickly grab and back to cutting. I could almost flip it open like a switchblade. We we cutting a lot of woody invaders to the prairie (surrounded by development) and this saw got the job done. I'd been using my old stationary, much longer blade and this was awesome. I retired the old saw. What was being cut ranged from soft to hard wood, some dried and burned and hard! I'm going to return a 10" (because I tossed the packaging for the 2nd) only because the size of the 8" is easier to handle and it can cut anything that a 10" could, and the shorter size makes it a little more stable when working pretty quick. At the currently $8, the 8" is a bargain. It also appears to be the same knife as a name brand sold on Amazon and in local hardware/garden centers without the brand name. You can't go wrong with either, but the 10" won't cut anything more than the 8" can, and I found the 8" is more stable. And compared to the standard large, non-folding saw, like my old trusty one, this 8" is a lot more productive and compact to make the work go faster.

Quite sharp
This folding saw was quite sharp, and it did a good job. I had a previous pruning saw, but it didn’t fold. And I think the blades get dulled when not protected. I cut down a sucker tree, That was about 2 inches in diameter, without any difficulty. A saw is my go to tool. When my loppers can’t cut it, literally. The price was good, and cuts relatively quickly. I would have no hesitation recommending this to others.

Sturdy construction, worked well
I purchased this tool to cut down a large plant and was totally surprised by how well it worked. The blade just grabbed and cut deep with each stroke. Great price, sturdy construction, and it folds away nicely for storage.
