I Where Them Daily!
I liked these hiking shoes so much that I ended up wearing them every day, not just on the trail. They’re lightweight, very comfortable, and have held up great so far. They feel durable without being bulky, which is hard to find. Great all-around shoe if you want something that works for hiking and everyday wear.

Great shoes
I love these I wear them everyday, they have them in wide sizes. Very comfortable and great for hiking around, keeps my feet dry. The quality seems really good and I like the color.

Great Hiking Shoes
I've had these shoes for almost a year now and came back to right a review...that should tell you something! They've been great. Over the past year, I've put a lot of miles on them camping and around town. (They are a hiking shoe with a fairly rugged appearance; so my wife usually grimaces when I wear them around town.) The first week I had them was spent at Boy Scout camp in OK. They were good in the peak of summer heat & humidity. But they've really been at their best in wet weather. The waterproofing has kept my feet dry in rain, mud, and standing water. They have begun to show minor signs of normal wear and tear, but I'm not gentle on my shoes and could really stand to take better care of them. Overall, they're comfortable, fit true to size, and perform perfectly in all conditions. I highly recommend them.

These are great for females too!
I absolutely, love these black Merrell Men's Moab 3 Waterproof hiking shoes! I wear a size 10 in a female tennis shoe. I bought these men's tennis shoes because I have owned a pair years ago. They are fantastic! They look really good on my feet. They grip the surface well. They are extremely, comfortable and look great with my clothing. I prefer the black ones because you can barely see that they are tennis shoes. They fit like a glove. They are not large and bulky for a female to be wearing. They look normal, but are really roomy. I love them!

Best shoes I've had yet and the only shoe that should be worn as an everyday shoe.
For those wondering, I purchased these for bicycling with flat pedals. I did try them on before putting them up prior to getting the flat pedals mounted on my bike. Styling of the shoes makes no difference to me. Shoes are shoes to me. I'm not looking for looks at all. Waterproofing, I'll have to get back to this later on as I've not tested them in the rainy weather here. These shoes are plenty stiff where necessary for my intended purpose as well as most hikers. Value for the money is yet to be determined as I've not worn these long. Arch support in this pair of shoes is great as is the fit. I have a 12EEEEE foot. I have extreme issues with finding shoes that fit. These fit better than the cowboy boots I purchased back in the 80's. The first pair I walked in for 30 miles the next day after purchase. If these Merrell shoes last as long as they did and are as comfortable as those boots were, great. I've been longing for another pair of shoes that gave me a 1 inch lift in the heel area as per a podiatrists words is the ideal heel height for a shoe. Podiatrists recommend shoes with no more than a 1 inch heel and no more than a 15 degree forward cant to that heel. I've not found this in any (I mean all the bicycling shoes I've worn or looked at) other shoe. Not even high end running or jogging shoes. As to the specialized version of Vibram rubber soles, I know Vibram wears good. Let's see how these last when mating up to a pair of Race Face Chester pedals. One last comment here. While writing this review it shows up as Merrell Men's Moccasin like it did after I ordered these shoes. I ordered and got the Merrell Moab 3 waterproof men's low top so this review is for that shoe, NOT the Merrell Men's Moccasin. Amazon, please correct your webserver's issue with displaying the actual product ordered. Update: I've now had about 8 or more hours in these shoes. My body is still adjusting to the difference between cycling shoes and hiking shoes (though I bought these for flat pedals on the bike). I can say one thing for certain. These shoes are warm when the temps roll below 30F. The so called Merrell specific Vibram soles are far from soft like other Vibram soles. The soles themselves ought to last a long time and the pins on my flat pedals don't even dent them. UPDAATE: I've now worn these shoes mated to my Race Face Chester peddles. They grab sufficiently enough that I don't feel locked in by the pins. As to the waterproof layer in the shoes, I'll vouch that that layer keeps the feet dry as long as you aren't over the height of the shoe in water. I was riding bicycle while it was raining the other day and had the shoes washed in rain water in the road and puddles. When I pulled the shoes off my socks were quite dry.

Very Good Boot
The Merrell J035849 Moab 3 Waterproof in Boulder, Size 9M, is a versatile, well-rounded hiking boot that lives up to its reputation. It’s an excellent choice for casual hikers, weekend adventurers, or anyone needing a dependable all-purpose boot for trails with moderate to heavy obstacles. While it’s not the lightest or most specialized option, its blend of comfort, waterproofing, and traction at a reasonable price makes it a standout. If you’re a Size 9M with average feet and want a boot that’s ready to hit the trail without fuss, this is a strong contender. Just be mindful of the break-in period if you find it stiff at first, and consider your needs if you hike in consistently muddy or extreme conditions where lighter or more aggressive boots might edge it out. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Excellent walking sneakers
Excellent walking sneakers, great fit, comfortable, great style. I have been walking in these for in excess of 12 hours per days for the past 2 weeks, after a long while on the feet the ball f the foot starts to hurt, this is not a flaw with this sneakers, but with any shoes, even with the best padding, and I have tried many foot padding systems and its all the same. whether silicone, or expensive customized contoured soles.

Moab 3's: State of the art!
There's a reason this is the Number One hiker. They are super comfortable yet supportive, light, and have great grip. I'm a life long avid hiker, and swear by Merrill's, the nearest typical competitor are the Keen's which are heavier, clunkier, and frankly rather precious these days with the message printing on the insoles and the overall crunchy granola attitude of the company. Just give us a sold, well made boot at a reasonable price..wait, Merrill does that. Highly recommended, get the waterproof version for added protection .
