In this 46 page, humorous adventure, Daft Harry and spiteful, tomboy sister, Lou Scrambles (Scufney Bean), together with mates Ian (Ena) and Chris (Sheeptick), explore an old lime kiln in the woods. They end up imprisoned in the deep pit by two escaped convicts, who are trying to recover hidden jewellery. Can Harry and Lou escape, capture the crooks and recover the gems? After pelting the bandits with sugary plums, the siblings lead them past an open wasps nest. The bandits survive and continue to chase the siblings, but as usual, Harry has plenty more tricks up his sleeve and soon, Lou joins in with her ideas too.
