how do you use the pro-stat the flavor is terrible and my mom has severe protein malnutrition and pressure sores she doesn't want to drink it

I understand how your mother thinks it tastes terrible. I agree! I was given it daily after having foot surgery while I was in a nursing home for 3 months. (The Doctor had to break my foot in 3 places and rebuild it from the foot bed up, with 7 pins in it) I had a heel ulcer and a 1 1/2”X 2” wound on the top of my foot. I tried mixing it with several things, but the best way was to put it in a 1 oz. pill cup, shoot it down an follow it with ice water. Mixing it with anything just prolonged the agony.

Pro-Stat is sugar free,contains fructose, a low glycemic sweetener.

Whatnsweetner is used?

Pro-Stat 64 is sugarfree...no sweetener added which is what I use. There is Pro-Stat101 with sweetener added, the type of sweetener can be found in the detailed description.

does the product contain milk in any way, shape or form?
