Transforms the tea-enjoying experience into next-level happiness
I'd collected loads of loose-leaf teas but was taking forever to actually drink them all because the faff involved in cleaning out glass teapots and those metal tea infusers was really offputting, plus you still ended up with bits in your cup. Bought these and suddenly I'm ALL about the diversity of loose-leaf tea. 1 teaspoon for a standard mug, 1.5 teaspoons of tea for a giant mug, tighten the drawstring and you're away. Give it sufficient time to infuse. Works well, and then sling it on to the compost heap. As far as I know they're plastic-free so should rot down, but I'll report back next year when we start using this year's compost including the bags...Seriously recommend these for making it easy to bring delicious new teas into your life.

Tea? Bagged!
These have been great, really make it easier to make a brew from loose leaf tea.Bags seem sturdy and the draw string works well

Draws tightly and keeps all loose tea contained
I have been buying filter bags for tea for a while now because I always found that even with fine mesh strainers there would always be tiny amounts of leaves getting through and a tea bag that is easily compostable has always been helpful in keeping all that tea from getting through. I was originally skeptical of the drawstring, not sure how tightly it would pull and if the hole would be an issue with tea eacaping the bag, so I tried the bags with one of my infusions with the tiniest leaves (a Rooibos) to see if any would escape the bag... Absolutely none did, even when the drawn shut opening was submerged under the water. The bag also sits happily in water with the string not sliding into the teapot so it's easily removable, can fit a decent amount of tea inside for brewing larger pots and is sturdy enough that the bags won't tear unless you're fairly rough with them. The bags didn't impede on the tea's ability to steep either, making a tea that was brewed in the correct amount of time.Overall, very effective in keeping the tea within the bag and creating a leafless tea without the hassle some other, non-drawstring filter bags have with needing extra clips and such.

Empty tea bags
Great for herbal and rose petals teas. Also good for adding cloves, cinnamon and cardamom when brewing a warm cup of tea.

Not perforated
Basically a paper bag and without perforations takes 50% more tea to make the same strength cup as a pot or tea ball.My loose leave tea is good expensive stuff so this really isn't economical. Better off paying more and using less.Pulls closed well though and different leak.
