AC Drain Hose

This works great. The hose fits perfectly on my current hose to extend the drainage. People have reported that the hose may become brittle and crack, so I will watch for that. I paid around $10, so it was very affordable.

It took longer to look at everything and figure out what to do than it took to clip it in and tighten the supplied hose clamp. This was the best value drain hose I could find online. Just slide the hose clamp over the hose, insert the barbed hard plastic connector to that end. Snug up the hose clamp on the barbs. Push the clip end into the round hole on the bottom edge of your unit, until it snaps in place, and then twist the clamp good and tight. Just be careful you don't break the hard plastic. It's not made to be twisted or torqued. If you don't have strong hands you may need something thin, like a wide flathead screwdriver to -push- on the edge of the clip. Install took about 30 seconds. The hose length may be the only issue for some folks. Otherwise it's good to go. Thanks

When first purchased, I bought this product for usage of the hose, as an "inlet hose," with my compact / portable / mini twin tub washing machine - since the listing for this item seems to imply that it can be used for such - and even offers an image of it attached to a faucet - but buyer beware. I believe the image may be showing an Asian-type faucet, and not a US type faucet . . . as this item would NOT fit my kitchen faucet, here in the US. Due to this, I was very disappointed and aggravated and expressed that in my initial review, wherein I had advised AGAINST buying this product for usage in that respect, and due to that dilemma. HOWEVER, I did some research and found a type of hose/faucet adapter, which now makes this possible . . . so if you want to purchase this hose for use as an inlet hose for your small, compact twin tub washer, be sure to go online and also find and purchase an "Uxcell Plastic Washing Machine Inlet Hose Connector, Washing Machine Hose Coupler / White 15.7mm Pack of 2" which will make this possible. Otherwise, plan on potentially being disappointed due to not being able to use the hose for such, as a stand-alone item. That being said, however, and due to my prior frustration, the seller did reach out to me and provide a complete refund - and so the seller's communication and interest in customer satisfaction, ultimately seems to be quite good. So I would NOT advise against purchasing this product for the aforementioned purpose any longer, as long as you also accompany such w/an additional purchase, of the other herein referenced item, as well – which may also be found, at a pretty low price. Consequently, this product therefore seems like a good deal, in light of the aforementioned – with all prior aggravation, set aside. Hope this proves helpful.

I have a 15 yr old NewAir 14000 BTU portable air conditioner and during my recent move, the drain hose got lost. Because it is an older unit, it is nearly impossible to find replacement parts for it. This tubing looked like it might be my best bet to find something that would fit the unit's drain so I took the chance. It fits perfectly! Phew!

Works well to run a drain hose from a portable air conditioner in the garage to the outside. Because of the humidity I had been emptying at 5 gallon bucket several times a day. I'm glad I got the 20 ft. This was a great fix.
