Great Product.
This was a great war drama show from the '70's. I saw it on one of those channels that carries old TV series. Hadn't noticed it on anywhere since originally air. I never really saw it back in the day except for bits and pieces of episodes, but after I discovered it this past spring and kept watching, I had to have it. It has a great cast with Robert Conrad as the lead. Also, a very young Dan Larroquette and many other recognizable faces who became big stars. Larry Manetti, Dana Elcar, James Whitmore Jr., Dirk Blocker and the list goes on. Many other recognizable faces who were already well-known. Sadly, it was only on 2 seasons on NBC. This is the only full season, as the 2nd was about a half a season. Nice that it came back for some episodes. Came in perfect condition and at a great price. Thanks!

Took me back to the '70s.
I watched the first season of baba black sheep and it reminded me of my youth, the fun we used to have with my dad who was in the military, and when we'd watch it every week. Show still holds up.

Great Series
Had to have this since I watched it as a kid back in the 60's or 70's. Stories were great. All the episodes in their entirety and the picture was cleaned up fairly well. I would have given 5 Stars except the sound on the disc wasn't always synched up with the movement of the actor's mouth.

VMF 214 marine Corps, Black Sheep
Excellent real footage of Corsair aircraft, there will never be movies like this again because everything is computer generated, I highly recommend this film to be given to any youngster grandchildren that is interested in this great American history. My uncles were in World War II, most World War II veterans have passed away. When they were alive, I actually met the Japanese pilot meatball and Pappy Boyington. And to think at that time these were all young men in their mid 20s. I rate the series 5 stars.

A teenage favorite of mine
I actually read Major Boyington's book on his military career with the Flying Tiger's and the VMF-214 as a teenager. The show was a favorite for me, not for it's accuracy, as Hollywood takes great licence's in punching up the program for rating's. Just two season's so I guess the ratings weren't that great. However, they did get a lot of the details of the military hardware right. The show is definitely worth having, even 35 years later."Baa Baa Black Sheep" (also known as "Black Sheep Squadron") was a WW2 period military television series.Robert Conrad was perfect in the role of Major Greg 'Pappy' Boyington.Simon Oakland was perfect in the role of Brigadier General Thomas Moore.Dana Elcar was perfect in the role of Colonel Thomas A. LardJames Whitmore, Jr. was perfect in the role of Captain James 'Jim' Gutterman.Dirk Blocker was perfect in the role of 1st Lieutenant Jerome 'Jerry' Bragg.W.K. Stratton was perfect in the role of 2nd Lieutenant Lawrence 'Larry' Casey.Robert Ginty was perfect in the role of 1st Lieutenant Thomas Joseph 'T.J.' Wiley.Joey Aresco was perfect in the role of Sergeant John David 'Hutch' Hutchinson.John Larroquette was perfect in the role of 2nd Lieutenant Robert 'Bob' Anderson.Larry Manetti was perfect in the role of 1st Lieutenant Robert 'Bobby' Boyle.Jeff MacKay was perfect in the role of 1st Lieutenant Donald 'Don' French.Red West was perfect in the role of Sergeant Andrew 'Andy' Micklin. The first season of "Baa Baa Black Sheep" originally aired on NBC from September 21, 1976 until March 22, 1977
