I was a bit hesitant with this rack after pulling it out of the box and assembling it, but after installing, it's actually quite sturdy when mounted, so I believe the 100lb weight rating to be more than true. The 10 hooks it comes with feel well made and have a polymer friction tab on them to lock them in place on the rack. Install only took a few minutes and an extra set of hands to keep it level while drilling into studs. I would really recommend using a stud finder before mounting, so your wood screws are dead center in the studs. Having thousands of dollars worth of 'pews' and equipment crashing down in the middle of the night is not something preferable. Over all, it works very well, and it holds up all of my heaviest surplus 'pews' that are too tall to fit in the safe without any issues. For the price point, it's a very well made rack, it also looks great and has a nice powder coat matte finish .

When I first saw this, I thought that as reasonable as the price was, it would most likely be made out of primarily plastic. I was very wrong. There is virtually no plastic in the box at all. This is an all steel, precision made, rack that goes together very easy, one man (or woman😁) can easily assemble the unit in about 30 minutes;15 if you use an electric screwdriver. The only thing that could require a second person depending on your strength is hanging it on a wall while using a level. This rack is not some ultralight piece of junk. When you get it all together, it really feels high quality and strong. The one aspect of the rack that surprised me more than any other part was how high quality the actual hooks that hold your rifles are. They are heavy duty. They have four hooks that hook onto the slots in the rack, then there is a friction lock at the top of each individual hook mount that you flip one you install it that keeps it from ever moving. It’s pretty ingenious. Then, the hook itself has a separate finger screw that you can loosen to give you even more fine tuning. The hooks are covered totally in a rubberized protective material to prevent damage to your rifles. I bought this rack to keep my defensive rifles close at hand while everything else is in the safe. It’s been awhile since I was this satisfied with a product I bought online that I had never seen before in person. If I can think of any caveat, my one criticism might be that they might want to think about including drywall anchors. Only including screws really limits your ability to pick the right location. Luckily, that wasn’t a problem for me but it certainly could be for others.

I had already bought 4 of the vertical pewpew racks from Savior Equipment so I already knew their superior craftsmanship when purchasing this horizontal pewpew rack. This horizontal rack did not disappoint. I had a tight closet so this rack went perfect with the vertical pewpew rack. Since I enjoy displaying my pewpews and have a personal preference on adding 3X multipliers and red dots, I was able to only get 4 pewpews on this rack as the red dot on the bottom pewpew touched the pistol grip of the above pewpew. You could always turn every other pewpew in the opposite direction and you’d have zero issues getting 5 pewpews on this rack. Again, back to personal preference but I wanted all my pewpews pointing in the same direction so I did space them out a little more which allowed me to display 4 pewpews and then I used the bottom rack to display two plate carriers. I also have to mention I had to compete with a ceiling for space so if I had space, I could have probably moved the very top hooks to the very top which would have given me more room. Aside from the personal preferences I mentioned above, the pewpew rack was very simple to put together. I put the rack together on the floor and then mounted it to the wall. Again, all of this was very simple. Each of the hooks have a tab at the top to ensure it gets squeezed firmly in place which really made this a solid rack. The quality of the material used seemed to be top notch. Again, if you’re looking at purchasing this setup, don’t hesitate as hopefully you’ll have a great experience as I had. My only con is they never include decals or stickers in their pewpew racks or cases. However, at the end of the day, I’m glad they spend the extra time putting in quality work instead of printing stickers.

very well made. easy to install in very little time. make sure your wall color is what you want to show through the holes for the screws. i am already looking to order some more. rather affordable. worked great with my weapons and ammo.

This is great for the price. Sold, quality components that function well. IT was super easy to assemble and install. 15 min. or so.

Awesome product, however it does not use the same hooks as their slat wall system. Was hoping they’d be interchangeable
