Does the job it’s supposed to
Does the job! Damn lifters were stubborn and stuck. This pulled them out. The weight could be heavier. Kinda light, but it works.

dont give up!
the suction can be dull at times but just get in the groove and find a good spot on the valve and soon you will be grinding like a pro! good product!

Lifters came out, it was a great purchase.
Lifters were stuck, varnished, this made the job doable. He never would have gotten them out without this tool. 1988 Chevy Van 305 motor.

Rubber is too hard, not able to hold suction
As a concept this are great but the ones I got were not really very good. Maybe it's the type of valves I was working on but they would not hold. I had to use double sided Gorilla tape, the clear kind, to get these to work but even that failed after a few attempts. I finally just used the tape to attach the old valves to the top of the new valves and used a drill to lap them. It worked perfectly!

Suction held very well
My first time laping the seats and valves and this worked flawlessly

Poor product quality - waste of money
The sole purpose of a valve lapper is to stick to the head of the valve securely so you can lap the valve. This tool does not do that. The rubber is too stiff and it does not hold suction with the valve. With brand new titanium valves, I tried 3 of the 4 sizes from smallest to second largest. The small ones don't suction on at all and are worthless. The second largest one would only hold on for 2-3 spins of the lapper before popping off the valve. A 5 minute job became a 30 minute job due to the poor quality of this tool. Don't waste your money on this one.
