Braylin 128MB High Speed Memory Card for Sony PS2, Compatible with Sony Playstation 2, Pack of 2

These are more economical than the 8MB models, and they are accepted by most games. I have about 150 PS2 games and three of them wouldn't accept anything larger 8MB storage cards. I can store up to 16 PS2 games on these memory cards. They're a must have if you don't want to start every game from the beginning each time you play. I highly recommend these memory cards.

I bought a couple of these after re-furbishing my old PS2 for some retro gaming. It's really nice to be able to put most of my save games on one memory card and not have to swap them around for each game like in the old days. Not to mention, the original Sony memory cards are getting expensive on Ebay and I don't want someone's used card. I prefer these 128 mb versions over the 256 mb cards, because the 256 mb version have a switch to change back and forth between two 128 mb halves. Apparently 128 mb is the largest size that the PS2 can support. We'll see how durable these are over time, but after some months I haven't had any issues.

I tried to use them right away, but the first game I tried with them said insufficient memory. It’s a 128 mb and I only need 90 kn available... I cleared the cards memory, but they still don’t work

Hello! Works wonderfully and my games don't lag horribly anymore. I had had an 8mb when I first got my system (used, from a friend, when it was obsolete anyway), and had to keep deleting saved game data. I mean, the console will over heat and I'll have to restart it but that's not imprtant to this review XDAnyway, all in all, these save cards work amazingly and if they get filled I will be buying more!

They work pretty well. I bought two of these, and one of them went slightly wonky. Had to use the old "blow it out" technique on the card and system. Now, both work well.

Strongly dislike them as they are not already formatted/set up so that you can automatically save your game play to them, which was why I bought the two pack to begin with as replacement for my old PS2 memory cards. My PS2 don't even read them.

Only recognizes 8MB on old playstation. But it does work.

They work without error for a great price, plus more storage space than anyone could reasonably ever need for a PS2.
