This book was everything so much action a mystery going on. Harlow finally finds some answers in this book about her past.Enzo is my favorite guy he’s like a teddy bear but mess with his family an you’re gonna need to run.Hunter goes through a lot in this book it’s a bit sad but he pulls though it an definitely works out how to survive.Theo finally admits his feelings in this book you get a bit more into his backstory an why he is the way he is.Leigh steps up when he’s needed most. He an Harlow find time together an share things an secrets. He’s grown on me in this book.I loved this book so much it’s written so amazingly that it pulls you right in an you need to know what happens next.This book does deal with darker themes I’d say a tad bit more then book one so absolutely check your triggers before reading.It’s in multiple POVS an you get more of a feeling of everyone’s emotions throughout the chapters it makes you feel like you’re getting inside the characters heads like the author does.An if you’re wanting to get more of Brooklyn an her crazy guys they have their own series Blackwood Institute. You absolutely don’t need to read that before reading this series though.

I kinda got the right vibe so nothing was a huge surprise. Very excited for the next book and I definitely have some theories

I knew when I dove into this that it would be roller coaster ride of emotions and suspense and I wasn’t disappointed. ***This is book 2, Corpse Roads needs to be read first and it ends in a cliffhanger. This also has potential triggers so please check TW***Harlow is one of my favorite heroines that I have read. Her fight and growth in this second book is out of this world - I LOVED seeing her take back her power.Hunter, Enzo, Leighton and Theo - the leader, the fighter, the jokester and the techie. I love and adore each of these men in different ways but equally. Seeing their vulnerable side show in this story was a new turn I wasn’t expecting and I loved seeing them in a new light. When these guys love, they love with whole their being and it shows.J Rose never ceases to amaze me with her ability to write characters that make their places right at home in my bones and soul, this group is the perfect example. My heart and gut were squeezed tight as she cranked up the suspense and threw in twists I wasn’t expecting that had me yelling, but I also melted on more than one occasion over the guys with their love and devotion to Harlow. I loved seeing Brooklyn and her guys as well, it was such an awesome Easter egg. This is a unique serial killer romantic suspense novel that stands out in the sea of lather/rinse/repeat and forever will be in my top favorites. I can’t wait to see where she takes this.

This series is just what I needed to get me out of my slump. I love these guys. On to the next

This book is the second in the series, continuing Harlow's story. It has many set backs for the group, and secrets reviled. It felt like the story dragged on, with need to read another book before its conclusion.

Call it my coping mechanism, but the only way I was able to make it through this book was to pretend it takes place in a comic book. None of what happens is realistic. The authors need to give every single character a traumatic backstory is ridiculous!! We get it, they're trauma bonding, nobody is coping, and everything's a mess! Repeat that formula over and over again, throw in some very unrealistic serial killer drama, and you have this series! I was really hoping this insanity would get better as the series went on, but it's only getting worse.The playlist is the only thing that took this from a 2.5 star review to a three star review. And honestly the fact that it has a playlist might be the only thing I actually really like about this series.

Skeletal Hearts is book two of the Sabre Security series and can’t be read on its own. Even though it does end on a cliffhanger it isn’t a bad one. Now on to the review…First of all, WOW! This book was intense and dark! I had to put it down for a bit because of all the twists! It is full of action, suspense, heartache, betrayal, angst and so much emotion! These characters go through so much and have so much growth through this book. Hunter, Enzo, Theo, and Leighton are all so different but are each perfect for Harlow and are helping her to heal. I have fallen even more in love with all five of these characters and I can’t wait for book three to see how their story ends!

This series has me all bent out of shape. There is a lot happening and there are quite a few content warnings, so make sure you're aware before going in. If you've read Blackwood Institute, then you're aware of how dark Sabre Security can get. Harlow has gone though a lot and she does have some PTSD, so be aware of that.With all that being said, I cannot get not get enough of Sabre Security. During Skeletal Hearts, we see all of them open up more and we get some new puzzle pieces to put everything together.This story is like a spiderweb. There's so many moving pieces and everything fits together beautifully. I cannot wait until the final book. I am so ready to see how everything is going to come together and Harlow and her guys come out on top.

We continue this highly emotional read with the background of catching the depraved serial killer while also dealing with each character's own demons. This has plenty of suspense and action but is largely character driven. We see Harlow and her guys go through both personal and group development. This is a fantastic read and I am so ready for Hollow Veins next.

I am in love with Harlow and her men's story. J.Rose has done a fantastic job and drags you into the world of Sabre Security. Full of twists and turns, this book is riveting and you will want to do nothing but sit on your sofa and read.

The story keeps getting better and better, I loved the first book and love this one more. It starts with a prologue which gives us an important insight and clears up a few things. Then the story starts where it left off with a few days ahead but addresses the last cliffhanger. It all becomes more complicated with the mystery hanging but all the more interesting too at the same time.I’ll praise the writing again, it’s really good and kept me on the edge the entire way. I won’t be shocked if the story gets picked up for a thriller TV show. It’s truly that consuming. The good thing I found is that the spiciness is in perfect amount with the story. I have read stories where the story gets overshadowed by the spiciness but here it’s not the case. The story is going fast-paced with detailed important scenarios. Reading it equates to watching a show.Harlow’s character grows in a very positive way (there are situations where you can’t blame her it’s all trauma), I love how well she has started dealing with her situation. The support she is getting is wonderful. The relationship development is addictive and I wanted more of their chats and time together. They all are coping in a constructive way. Now it’s all about gaining the upper hand and finishing up.

I loved the continuation of this story. I can’t wait to read the final instalment. Harlow and her guys are so wonderful together and I love that each of them brings a little something to the party ♥️

4.5 / 5 starsJ. Rose has written another masterpiece. This book was freaking amazing! The character development in this book was insane. We got to know each of the characters on a deeper level which helped me connect with them further. This also helped with the story development as well. Harlow’s individual relationships with each of her men developed at their own pace, true to each of their personalities which helped make their dynamic feel more authentic and not forced or rushed at all.The plot line in this one was wild. We got more answers surrounding Harlow’s past and some of the things revealed about certain characters had me shook. I had a feeling about some things based on what I’ve read so far, but the other thing left me speechless. Your emotions will be on a ride in this book, it had me laughing, crying, and left me angry at other times. I am fully invested in this series and can’t wait to dive into the final book to see how the series wraps up.
