Protein
I am a guru of working out & trying all different proteins whether cheap or expensive, taste, quality, bang for the buck, etc....and I love this flavor and mix it with so many different things. I have tried every Elite flavor they have and this is my favorite. I will mix it with the banana nut, or the capp rush, and other proteins I have. Great taste, and for the money spent, and quality it cant be matched. Now the new Elites that came out...not so good...As I understand whey has increased in price and the new Elite flavors they dropped in quality and taste. Right now I like the Banana nut elite xt slow release, The Brownie, and the Gourment Capp Rush the best. And like mixing these to change it up a bit. Some of Elites Xt have more of a chalky taste than others which others complain about and I do taste as well but its that bad. I like to mix with water, flax seed, chia seed, husk, organic flax oil for a good breakfast metabolism starter. I usually mix with water, but at times when needing a even better filler I will mix with Almond milk, original (NO SUGAR) 30 cal per serving. Or just a half of cup of Almond Milk, and the rest water goes a long way. Delicious! But for the price, and amount, and taste..it can't be beat if your on a budget too. Mixes great, and plays well with others, or in other words other flavors. Great ingredients, proteins, and amino acids of course. As eating healthy/clean as we know is NOT CHEAP! SO great product, I like it! It gets other great reviews and def..one of their best flavors...Bottom line---GET IT !

Make sure you use a current phone number for credit application...
Product fine... BTW, if you apply for an Amazon Store Card or an Amazon Rewards Visa card make sure you put a current phone number that you can be reached at on your application. They will call you guaranteed on initial orders placed after being approved for a credit line and if you call back from a number not listed on the application they won't be able to release any hold on your card until you send them physical verification items confirming your current address, ID and phone number, either in person or sent by surface mail. I forgot I had my Cox number changed and put my old number on the application so when I called about why my card was declined they told me they couldn't release the hold until they had physical verification of my new number, my address and government issued ID. They will not take this information over the phone if you cannot be reached at the number you put on your application and they will call you at that number before any hold will be released. So it will be about 2 weeks before I can use my new Store Card now because of this oversight on my part since I had to send them a few paper statements confirming my address, phone number and a copy of my driver's license to the bank's Ohio address.

Great protein, but really bad seller. (Mainly wholesale)
I bought this product a couple days ago and received it in poor condition, the protein powder tub was crushed and some of the powder somehow seeped out through the lid. And on top of that, they sent me the wrong flavor. I was able to get a full refund for it through an amazon associate. Even though it was crushed and some got out, it still had the seal over the lid, but I assume it was just bent a certain way and a little got out, so I took a small taste of it in a shot glass, and it was pretty chalky. From all this I assume the seller had this for quite a while and didn't take care of his packages too well. The box it came in was still fine, so I highly doubt it was damaged during shipping.I've had this product before, I had Fudge Brownie, it was great. I don't hold any of the problems against Dymatize, just the seller.

Delicious!
It's been a few years since I hit the gym and tried some protein powder. My last one was from GNC Whey Vanilla flavor, and I really disliked the taste. I have about 1/3 of the container left in my garage that I just did not want to finish. So after some researching, I decided on Dymatize Elite XT because it's known for it's value and high quality. The moment I opened up the cap, I could already smell the great scent and knew this would taste good. I had some trouble finding the scoop as it was all the way at the bottom of the container. I just used a kitchen spoon and started digging for the scooper.I used 10oz of water (295mL) and mixed it with 1 scoop of powder. The taste was phenomenal! I ordered the Fudge Browney and it tasted very chocolately. Not bland at all. I plan on trying it with milk next time. Will definitely order again!

A very different product than what I previously got in 2013
I had ordered this exact same item sometime from Amazon in the summer of 2013. I really liked its taste, and it dissolved in water pretty well too. I only used it a couple times a week, so it lasted me until recently. I just reordered in Feb 2014. Right away I could see something was different. It was much more finely ground (almost to a baby powder consistency) compared to the slightly coarser powder I previously received. That didn't bother me in itself. The problem is the new material tends to clump more and is harder to fully dissolve in water. I could probably even take this inconvenience, if the taste hadn't also changed. It is much less chocolaty, and has more of a bland vanilla or maybe even a malt flavor. Not at all what I expected. And I confirmed that it still says Fudge Brownie on the label. The label also has "New Improved Taste" written three times across the top, but "I disagree" - "I disagree" - "I disagree"!

Good poweder, but just realize it isn't solely whey.
I don't use it as a pre or PWO shake, but as a during the day and before bed protein-based drink. The taste isn't great, but isn't bad when used alone. I add some PB and whipping cream for texture and taste. As some of the earlier reviews state it doesn't mix well, but it isn't a straight whey powder which typically mixes easily (such as dymatize's whey products). Just use a shaker and you'll have no problem.

Suggest this, great before bed snack, or mid day snacker
I reviewed a different slow release protein before and this one is by far better tasting, and easier to drink. I spent a few more dollars on this one and if that's what I have to do I have to say the drinkability and such was a phenomenal difference.Taste: 4Drinkability: 4Texture (after mixed): 4Matieral break down after mixing: 4solid 4 star no doubt.
