At the price I pay from the suppliers this is pretty close and with next day delivery so Amazon wins. Birds thrive of it and we use a lot so the big bag is better value and convenience for me. As described exactly. Baby parrots love it

I find this the best hand mix as it mixes very smooth and can be fed with an 18 gauge tube, the price is also unbeatable compared to competitors brands.

Perfect for handrearing
This product is an essential for a rescue handrearing baby birds, we use it for rearing baby pigeons and it’s brilliant, plus this size bag lasts much longer at a better value than the small ones

Amazing
Perfect formula, I do a lot of handrearing and I use to use nutribird but I decided to give this ago and so glad I did as this is much better formula and I found it not to be so heavy on the birds crop. I will be using this from no on. I use it for budgies/ quakers/ cockatiels.

SO FAR AFTER 1 YEAR, THE BIRD IS STILL ALIVE.
I found a special kind of woodpecker with a very long beak , it is a northern flicker but with a skinny long beak about 5 inches , he would not eat anything, but noticed him drinking water, so I bought a small bag of this stuff, and he ate the mix, so I bought the big bag, and mixed 2 spoonfuls of the powder with dried ground black soldiers larvae mixed with water, so far he is alive after a year, but for some reason , he is losing his feathers. I recommend this powder, as I have used before to raise a baby house sparrow.

HE REALLY LIKES IT. :D UPDATE: 2024NOV24 - Second purchase arrived with a hole punched through the bag. Second problem, the bag has a best before date of 2024AUG. Looking into getting a refund. :( - the customer service person was very understanding and gave me a full refund. :)
