Yamaha MCRB043D Micro Stereo System - Dark Grey

Setting up the system and exploring the options was very straightforward. The sound quality is incredible, putting my old Bose system to shame. Also, the power output is more than sufficient for a large room. I do not need to turn the power up to more than about one third maximum. Although the speakers are small they give a good response across the range, e.g. no trouble with the Meistersinger overture, or Bob Dylan or Hildegarde of Bingen. Great system - great price.

I researched for a while into a small hifi setup. I didn't want to spend a lot as the kids like to use it. This does everything we want mainly from USB and also Amazon dot connected . The sound is great for such small speakers. I've spent a lot of money over the years on various audio tech and I'm happy with this. The black version looks nice in our lounge compared to many other systems and it's easy to use.only slight negative is I wish the display was faster to display track names ,etc from the USB making it easier to find tracks.

Yamaha MRCB043D sturdy well made and compact but don't be fooled, the sound is amazing, great deep bass with low mid and high adjustable equalisers. It automatically scans for DAB stations when first turned on. It has a very easy to set alarm, wake to buzzer, cd or dab. I don't write very many reviews, but I feel that I owe it to Yamaha because this is a serious piece of kit. I couldn't get the colour I was after, my fault for leaving it too long, but who cares any colour will do if it sounds like this. Fantastic. Update - Now I have had it a while, not impressed with CD player which to be quite honest, is crap. It constantly has reading problems. I cant believe it is a yamaha. In the past always bought LG or Sony. Was initially impressed with the sound, which is fantastic, but overall for such a big expensive brand, no better than much cheaper makes.

The Yamaha Micro system is the best system I have ever used, the sound quality is amazing, if your using DAB or FM radio, or the CD player, or streaming music through blue tooth The quality is amazing, I have never heard such depth to the music I play, I play my old CD’s over and over, its like listing to a new CD. The micro system is so easy to use, the remote control is very slick and easy to use. So impressed with this system

hi, I love it, the sound for such a small hi fi is out of this world, the DAB signal is just fantastic (although I live in a good reception area) the tuning was a bit fiddly but I have worked this out, and the speakers not being fixed is a bonus, the tone controls there are 3 high mid and bass very effective I cant fault it and it arrived a day early before my birthday. if you was thinking of a good micro system this is the one.

Pleased with my stereo and use it every day in the bedroom or when ironing in the next room, as I can move the speaker around. Down side: can't select tracks from different CDs to play, it can repeat same CD continuously.

It sounds as good as my old Bose. On top of that, I've got DAB radio, Bluetooth and a USB port as well as the standard FM radio and CD player. The speakers are moveable and the sound is adjustable to suit my personal preferences. And all this for way under half the price of a new Bose!

Xmas present for 8 year old who’s getting into music. It looks great and sounds great. Job done.
