Review: I have found that this chess game makes illegal moves. I have made the board play against itself, this photo shows it suggesting that the King moves 3 spaces. I'm not happy about buying this item. What do you want to do with it regarding a replacement or refund. Review: The board and pieces are pretty small for adult fingers. The chess pieces are non magnetic so be prepared to drop the pieces if you were to move around with the chess board. Setup is very easy. Battery lasts for many days. It claims to have 64 levels but to me, none of these levels are challenging. I am ELO 1500. This device claims to be ELO 1800. This device is more suitable for budget user (as it costs less than S$100) and perhaps to children at chess beginner level.

It is a decent board but I’m returning it….. I needed magnetic pieces because, I was going to use while traveling.. Also played 3 games as soon as I received it, but all three games ended in a mess because king became knight and pawn became bishop…..not sure, why it happened but it took attention from game to find correct positions….. I always played non electronic chess games until yesterday…… I’m trying to order another decent one and hopefully will find one ….
