Wow that's a lot of flour
Okay so first time I ordered rye flour and in such a quantity. I didn't realize how much 40lbs was...lol had to gift small 3-5lb bags to people for free. Many people loved the generosity.

The flour grind very fine dust like. Absorbing a ton of water. Any recipe with it do not work.Compering to Red Mills flours waist of money.

Flavorful Rye
I was given this dark rye flour from a restauranteur friend of mine and I didn't know much about rye quality at the time and made my first batch of rye bread which was delicious. I just thought it was the recipe. Then, I bought some rye from another company and then realized how great the Ardent Mills Baker's Authority dark rye was. I actually gave away all the other rye I had and bought Baker's Authority's dark rye direct from them. The shipping was more expensive than the flour but it is totally worth it. This is a really flavorful flour.

The flour is kind of like dust and takes water in extremely easy. The bread I make regularly for years didn’t work with this flour
