OXO SteeL Leakproof Expanding Wine Stopper (2 Pack)

These stoppers work very well and seal the bottle to keep your wine fresh. One huge bonus is they don't add any height to the bottle so you can put it in the door of the fridge to save space. They're very easy to put on and take off and when laid on its side they don't leak. They're a little pricier than other stoppers but these work great and are well worth the added cost.

These are the best wine stoppers I have found. Besides sticking the cork back in the bottle, I have never had any other stoppers that work as well. The type that just stick into the bottle never work that well, or are secure enough. And those typical ones with the lever you push down to seal them, either don't fit some bottles, or worse, are always breaking and don't last long. These are solid, well thought out, and do a fine job in sealing the bottles. And compared to others, I can lay the bottle sideways if needed, and no leakage. They have held up very well. Frankly, I can't say that I have ever had any OXO product that didn't work nicely, was well designed, and just works.

I was hesitant to purchase this item but I am so glad I did!This is a great product. It is easy to insert and remove. It is leakproof (I do keep it upright in my refrigerator). I love the fact that it keeps the wine fresh! I can put inside the fridge because it fits. The flat top is awesome and I love not having to put a bottle on the side door. Plus, it looks great and I hardly ever use my decorative wine stoppers. I love it and I’m glad it came with a second! This has also made my wine last longer because it provides great suction. Love these things. They are certainly leakproof and keep our wine fresh and delicious. Great quality. Absolute must for someone who drinks wine - would make a great gift.

To get it out of the way, I really like this stopper. It's a really simple design and super easy to use. That being said... The stopper works by having two rubber discs press against the inside of the bottle's neck. The discs are expanded by a rod that is forced through a hole in the center of the discs. This provides the "seal". That being said, there was a trade-off made between ease-of-use and seal strength. These stoppers are easy to use, but the seal strength suffers as a result. The net result is that I experience a 50% success rate when storing the stopped bottle horizontally. It's never a big mess, maybe a few drops, maybe a small puddle, but it's still a waste of wine and a mess to clean. If you need to store your bottles horizontally, you should probably pass on this stopper. It's a shame, really, as it wouldn't take much of a change to make this stopper work perfectly.

I sometimes don't finish that last bottle of beer, and it goes to waste. So I got these, and it works great for my favorite brand of beer. The next day when I remove it from the fridge with this stopper on it, the beer still tastes the same, without going flat or changing flavor. Not sure how many days these would work for, but for the very next day, works good. I'm sure they have already paid for themselves.

Great stoppers, very secure, easy to use. When locked in place you can pick up the bottle by holding top of stopper, not recommended, but saying how secure it is.

I'm jumping the gun a little, but since I'm thoroughly addicted to the Amazon brand of sparkling water in the large glass bottle, plus their elderberry/lime/mint sparkling water in the large glass bottle --- and because they only allow us to order two at a time of either of those .... I have to branch out, and so far, the Topo Chico in the 12oz. glass bottles is my best option. I got these bottle stoppers first before I ordered the Topo Chico (I'm not always this well organized and logical), but I got these because apparently the Topo Chico's in the 12oz. (or whatever) size, along with sparkling wine bottles (which can be smaller, too) ..... are too small for other bottle stoppers. The lever, "champagne," types of bottle stoppers, for example, will not work. And, I didn't want to fuss with the Vacu Vin method just for the Topo Chico bottles, so I got these. These are a great "starter" type of bottle stopper which I'm very happy to have. I have the Haley's Corkers already, which are great, but not for drinking from directly, whereas I can pop off these OXO's take a swig, and then seal the bottle conveniently. I am also interested in the metal lever "champagne" types of bottle stoppers, as well as the Vacu Vins, but for sure, these ones from OXO are keepers and I'm thrilled to have them!!! I have researched a lot of bottle stoppers, and I recommend these!!!

チョッとお値段が高いですが・・・シンプルで洗練されたデザインが気に入ってます。 瓶を横に倒して保管しても、中身が漏れることはありませんでした。 プッシュ部分がラウンドした平面なので、ワインセラーにもキチンと収納できキレイです。 もちろん、閉栓/開栓も瓶にそのまま差し込み、抜くだけでOKです。
