Bougt as a gift and a good buy. It is a good thing the heater has a remote control as the controls are at the bottom of the heater which could prove difficult for an elderly person. With the remote it proved very successful and is a very efficient heater.

Nice, small, quiet and easy to set heater. 3 settings with the remote control and a setting to oscillate from side to side moving the heat around. There are also manually controlled switches on the heater itself. A bargain price for this kind of heater when you compare with other more expensive brands.

Every type of Halogen fire I purchased in the last three years has been troublesome due to lamps failing

On first use from box, only one bar worked, so item returned to seller. It's worth noting that main controls are not at the top of device, but on the base - which makes operating it without the remote much more difficult if it is on the floor! Apart from that, was well constructed and seemed to operate well.

This is a very handy heater for my elderly mother-in-law. The remote control is easy to work and it means she doesn't have to get up to turn it on or off. It has three heat settings and an automatic cut out if it gets knocked over.....although it is well balanced so shouldn't knock over easily. It also oscilates to stop it getting too hot in one place

Good effective heater but to change a radiant is nigh impossible.

This fire is going straight back. The description is wrong. There is NO remote control. I’ve had these fires before and they’re usually really good. I was disappointed that I’ve to go to the hassle of sending it back.
