I think they come as 'standard' with nearly a couple of years on their expiry date.It's full of salty goodness. It doesn't go off :-) I just keep my tub in the pantry. It's cold but not chilled like a fridge.I've been eating the stuff for more than twenty years; it's very stable and lasts well. The bigger plastic tub has a good fitting lid too, and it stays cleaner than a jar of marmite. It tastes more like marmite than the others but has its own unique taste. It is quite dark in colour and very rich flavour. I treat it like a stock cube, if you don't dissolve an oxo it will probably lie in one area of your cooking.
