All the lights worked on the hooks and I have extra batteries. I love the handle over my regular aluminum hooks, keeps your hand more open and less prone to cramps. Only downside is that the hooks aren't as deep as I like. Red Heart super saver yarn was almost impossible to work with in these but Lion Brand Mandala yarn has no troubles.

These hooks are awesome when trying to work with dark yarns. I don’t have to strain my eyes to see the stitches. They seem to be good quality and I love the nice case they came in. The size was a little off. I had an item in progress with a 5mm hook. I had to drop to a 4.5mm in these to get the same size stitch. It would only be an issue if you switched hook types during a project or gauge is really important.

I absolutely love this set of 9 LED crochet hooks. They definitely help to reduce eye strain when working with dark colored yarn and the ergonomic design of the shaft helps to keep hands from cramping. I also found the price to be a big selling point for me. For some time, I've been looking at other sets of lighted crochet hooks and this one is less than half the cost of some of the other brands. The added bonus of having 2 packs of replacement batteries (6 replacement batteries in all) and a nice zippered case to keep the hooks organized included for one low price made these impossible for me to resist. I'm thrilled that I found these and I would recommend the Yarn Mania lighted crochet hooks to anyone looking for a great product at a very reasonable price.

I am new to crocheting and still struggle with my stitches being too tight and seeing where I should be putting the hook when making a single stitch. I was told to try a crochet hook with a light and it was very helpful. At the craft stores they only sell single size hooks in one size. I found this kit on Amazon and it has a wide variety of hook sizes and a great case to keep them organized. They are very comfortable to use and the price was extremely reasonable for the set. This kit will be helpful as I learn more stitches and tackle new projects.

I got this as a gift for my auntie as she makes all kinds of amazing things. When she got this gift she was over the moon about it. When I asked her what she liked so much about this set she said "The lights helps see the stitches in dim light, they are really sturdy and I really like that you can keep them all together" A big plus with this set that I liked as the buyer they ALL come WITH batteries! All you have to do when you’re ready for a hook you just pull the little tab out and you are ready to create!

These hooks are sweet! I bought it for my mom as she just recently started to crochet. Her eyes get easily strained from poorly lit area and she has arthritic hands. These light up crochet hooks fix all that. She brings these to her crocheting class and everyone wants a set. Definitely happy with the purchase. Pro tip #1: for the lights to work, you need to pull a small white sticker out. Pro tip #2: my mom tried these on braids and boy did it help.

Very happy with these hooks They are far better than I had imagined. Grip is excellent, and the hook glides smoothly through the yarn. I bought them for campfire crocheting at night, but I use them so much more than that. Would definitely recommend these. A pocket on the inside front cover of the case to hold the extra set of batteries would be a nice addition.
