Y: The Last Man Book Two TP

Loved both of these books, and I felt the story was really strong all the way through. It just had heart. Great characters throughout the two books. The one caveat about compendium 2 was I felt the artwork was just not as good as compendium one - it was still very good though. Great read and would definitely recommend both books.

Bought as a gift for my husband. he seems to be enjoying it. good quality and arrived undamaged.

I liked it , interesting characters and an unusual premise for the story. The art is reasonable, and the subject keeps your attention. There isn't a lot of resolution here just a steady unravelling of the plot and a slow progression forward with a spattering of insight into the characters and their motivations.

5 stars ***** Enjoyed this even more than the first. The series has a lot of Vaughan's trademark humour, whilst also offering different and interesting perspectives on what would happen if all men died (except one) and women inherited the earth. Though there are plenty of crazies in this post-men era, the story and themes are ultimately very feminist There's more world-building and Yorick's sister is in this one more. I hope the story gets more intricate though, as so far, it's pretty much just everybody wants to kill Yorick. Still, it was an excellent read and I am interested to find out what happens next.

I bought the first volume when i was at the London ComicCon for the first time. I wanted to buy 'A' comic from the con, and wanted something a little different to X-Men or Batman. I settled on the Y: The Last Man book one. Was not disappointed, in fact i enjoyed it so much i ordered the rest of the series. The second volume in this series is just as good as the first. This one is a little different as there are a lot more 'episodic' parts that a larger story arc. Can get a little weird in some places, but generally the stories are still fresh. I can see the stories becoming boring and repetitive if they do not reach their destination soon. Yes, its cool having a road trip - but how many stories can we have of messed up women and conspiracy theories? The artwork and characters are exactly my cup of tea.

Excellent graphic novel

The best there is, the best there was and best there ever will be. “Y The last Man” is the purest gem you can ever find. Never cried this much reading a comics/graphic novel. It took me few days to get back into senses.

Sinceramente, nunca tinha lido uma HQ que possuía uma surpresa a cada final de capítulo, e uma "bomba" a cada fim de volume. Y parece uma série que a cada final de episódio te deixa ainda mais ansioso para o próximo e com uma loucura de maratonar. Está se tornando umas das melhores HQs que já li, irei confirmar quando acabar os 5 volumes. A edição Americana está maravilhosa! Apesar de ser capa cartão o material é muito superior ao usado aqui no Brasil, sendo totalmente coberta de verniz. O miolo é em papel offset de alta gramatura e o quadrinho é bem "molinho" abrindo super facilmente, o que é ideal para admirar os desenhos e deixa a leitura muito mais confortável. Estou louco para ler os próximos volumes. Recomendo muito essa edição, ainda mais em uma promoção.

Es un gran título al cual me acerque por la serie cancelada que tuvo una buena primera temporada. Quería saber qué acontecia con Yorick y ahora voy a adquirir todos los libros. Es mi primera experiencia con una novela gráfica y puedo decir que es un buen comienzo para alguien que siempre había renegado del cómic.
