Needs clearer instructions on how to attach the fabric securely

We cut two feet off a bought blind and wanted to make one for the same room which has a width to take narrow eighteen inch blind. On arrival husband threw instructions away but it was really straightforward to make, fit and use. Well recommended

The size of the 60cm long rod actually measures only up to 57cm (the bottom fixture is even shorter than that), so my standard size blind roller of 60cm does NOT fit. This isn't mentioned in the product description, as it only says about bottom part but not the rod itself. Other parts are plastic and will NOT last long if you intend to use it everyday. I would give it more starts if I could return this incompatible item but when I requested a refund, seller has provided me with instructions to print the label and I would have to PAY RETURN SHIPPING COST. This would probably cost me as much as the item bought assuming it has to be returned in original bulky/heavy package (oversized cardboard tube). My intend was to order longer rod and DIY (so I can get the length I needed) but I won't be bothered doing any of this because of the return costs that I have to cover on the top of the price I have already paid for the item. Please, make sure the item you ordering will fit the purpose because you will have to pay similar amount just to return it...

Thought it was a bit flimsy when I opened the box, but it has done the job and for the price cannot complain.

I wanted to split the wide window blind so I could pull down just one side, or both. I cut the required section of fabric from-the wider roll to the new side blind. A good plan that looks iike it will work well Only I can’t confirm this as an insert is missing from the original packaging. The instructions are very clear - once opened they are deemed unsuitable for exchange All original packaging must be intact and undamaged. Therefore I see no recourse for the missing part within the pack, discovered immediately the box of parts was opened and checked against the instruction diagrams inside the packaging, as soon as I was ready to use it. The box was opened on a large hobby table in my own sewing room, so parts could not have “escaped” anywhere as it was well isolated from any other receptacle or person as I am alone. . A shame I have to replace this at my own cost before ever making use of it.

Great product.Used this to fit a blind my kitchen using some fabric I had left over.Great quality for the price.I Didn't use the sticky strip to attach the fabric as I found it really fiddly. Instead I used strong tape, which kept it more secure. I just made sure there was enough fabric so that when the blind was fully rolled out the tape couldn't be seen.Highly recommended this kit.

Bought 2 roller blind kits from here earlier this year and worked out so well that I thought I'd replace the blind in downstairs toilet. Worked out really well again. Looks really good! Great, fast and efficient service, thanks.
