The Catch [DVD]

Very enjoyable as a thriller but one event intrigued me and I wonder if I missed an explanation.Ryan's medal, that Ed borrowed and returned, was surely a VC - crimson ribbon and the famous For Valour dedication. A VC is no ordinory medal, it confers great kudos on those awarded it, yet no one commented on the significance of this. Any ideas why? ROBERT

Watchable enough as mysterious stranger turns up in Welsh fishing village and befriends a local girl. But is he all he seems. The link between the stranger and the local fishermen becomes obvious fairly quickly. The ending is bizarre and drawn out.

The package indicates subtitles for the hard of hearing….English HOH.This is false….there are none….there is no setup displayed either for sound or subtitles.

About as bad as it gets. Lazy writing, ludicrous and nonsensical plot. Dreadfully directed. Poor acting, although to be fair it must be tough to work with this laughably inadequate piece of garbage.
